Story
Hey! My name is Potion! I am a pretty lady around 5 months old looking for my forever home! I came in with a nasty eye infection which would not clear up at all. Unfortunately due to it causing me issues and pain it had to removed. I am a big doll baby but can be timid at first with new situations and people. If you go slow and talk to me I will come over for some loving. I roll over to the sound of people talking to me! I will not be able to live with dogs. Older kids in the home would be best for my shy and timid nature. Complete an application to meet me!

Story
Buzz Lightyear came to us in March with A LOT of other friends. At one time, he was very shy and nervous and found it hard to approach anyone. He would hide in his kennel and avoid human contact. Now months later, he has been adjusting better to his situation and has come out of his shell so much! It's a beautiful thing to see such a transformation! Now, Buzz Lightyear loves to get attention! He will rub against your hands and roll over for a quick belly rub before jumping back up and pushing under your hand again. He will purr very gently as he gets pet. He loves treats and will take them gently out of your hand. He is a very relaxed cat! He doesn't seem to mind most cats here at the shelter as well. He still has slight shyness to new faces but once he warms up, he loves all the attention. We are still working on picking him up. He doesn't mind it as much as he used to. At one time, it was a difficult task to pick him up. Now, he might let you hang onto him for a couple seconds before gently jumping off of you to either his kennel or the floor. Buzz Lightyear just needs a human he can build a bond with and learn to trust. Once he is comfortable with someone, they'll have a furry friend for life! Apply on our website today for this shy cutie or schedule a meet and greet with an approved application!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hercules was once a shy and timid boy who seemed as if the "feral cat life" suited him better than indoor house cat life. Hercules came in near the beginning of March and has made so much progress warming up to humans that we think he'd make a wonderful indoor companion. Hercules has gone through a lot in his rough past, but he's ready to put his best paw forward and find his new furever home. Hercules is around 3 years old. He doesn't seem to mind some of the other cats here at the shelter. We believe he'd do better with dogs if he wasn't in a kennel, but even behind the kennel he wasn't outwardly aggressive when a dog walked through the cat room. We believe Hercules could adjust to life with other animals if given the chance. If you have other pets, a trial adoption might be the way to go with Hercules! Hercules is making progress every day! He's still working on being picked up by humans, but he enjoys getting pets and scratches from the safety of his kennel. He is also extremely treat-motivated! He seems to enjoy laying around and relaxing in true lazy cat fashion. After stretching and yawning, he would make the purr-fect decoration for your couch.

Story
Teriyaki is one of many friends brought to the shelter in mid-May. She is a little shy and likes to hang out in her litter box where she feels safe. Teriyaki is taking it slow and steady warming up to the staff and new faces, but she is a very nice girl! She proceeds slowly and with caution when you reach out to pet her, but once your hand makes contact, she'll purr and want for more.
