Story
Very sweet temperament and friendly, especially with people he knows he's not mean and just likes attention. Sleeps a lot, probably because of age. Showed up at my door .. took to my vet so I know he's not chipped he may have not been fixed either. I'm not sure. No one in my area is looking for a cat so I would love to see this sweet babe get a nice home.

Perla is 5 months old and she's a very playful and loving kitty. She is very curious to everything in a home and enjoys exploring. She loves to chase and likes to be around people. She loves having her head scratched and will come to you to be pet. She loves taking naps with others and likes to rest on top of them. She may be shy at first but opens up quickly.

Story
Hi, I'm Blizzard! I've had a bit of a rough start, but I'm a smart and brave kitten ready for a new chapter. Every day, I use my cleverness to solve little puzzles and play with toys. I'm also quite the brave heart, always curious and ready to explore every nook and cranny of my environment. Despite my challenges, I've grown strong and resilient. If you're looking for a courageous companion who's also a quick learner, I'm your kitty! Let's start our adventure together. If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Story
Meet Lexus, spayed female, domestic medium hair, tuxedo, approx 14mths old. Lexus and her daughter Torque were taken in by a wonderful person, temporarily, the foster had them around dogs of varying sizes, other cats and they have met children. Lexus is a sweet, gentle, loving cat who would love a home, while her and her daughter are still housed together, they don't need to go together, although they wouldn't mind it. My adoption fee is $125 To adopt: 1. Cats are avaible to visit Thursday-Saturday 10am-4:00pm, no appointment needed. ***Please note with construction for our new shelter on the same property, Saturday is usually the best day to visit*** 2. Proof of home ownership must be brought with you, i.e a mortgage statement or property tax or home owners insurance 3. If you are a renter, you must have a letter from your landlord stating you can have a cat, pet policy and or pet agreement are not sufficient. 4. Debit/Credit or cash for adoption 5. Cat Carrier-we currently don't have card board carriers available

Story
Meet Millie! Our cat is in need of a new quiet and calm home. She is no longer thriving in the chaos that comes with sharing a home with two small kids and one big dog. Millie loves to steal a lick of milk from an empty cereal bowl, sit in a sun filled window, and be looked at lovingly. We adopted Millie 7 years ago and just want to improve her quality of life with a home that fits her needs (without small kids or other pets). She will need to go to a person/family who is patient and willing to give her time to adjust to a new environment. Feel free to reach out with questions or interest
