Story
**Quirky - Happy - Playful** (LJ 10/24) Carsyn is a special needs kitten. She has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. You may know it as "Wobbly cat". Carsyn's level is moderate to severe. While she has CH, it does not slow her down. She loves to play and wrestle with her siblings. She will need a home that can accommodate her special needs. She is learning to show cues when it's time to use the litter box. She uses the box well but sometimes needs help getting there in time. She will also need care when it comes to meal times. You can discuss all of these things with her foster mom. There is no medication required with a CH kitty. The condition will never get any better or worse than it is right now. Carsyn is not in pain and has no idea she is any different that any other kitty. You can see more photos/videos on Instagram @pdxkittyfoster. Caroline K1 Carsyn's adoption fee is $225. For more information on Cat Adoption Team's pricing and policies, visit catadoptionteam.org.HOW TO MEET ME: This kitty is currently in a foster home. To start the adoption process for them, please APPLY ONLINE - applications are reviewed in the order received. After you apply, we may contact you to schedule a virtual meet-and-greet. If you then decide to adopt, you'll complete an adoption counseling session and we'll schedule a pickup appointment. Adoption pick-ups may happen from the foster's residence. Story
Hi, I'm the petite gentleman Skye! I have the cutest little ears. I'm a ball of fluffy love.I'm an especially sweet guy with some special needs. I have seizures sometimes which are quite scary for me and anyone watching. When I have a seizure I might fall off my cat tree and (rarely) I lose control of my bladder. I'm on medication for the seizures which is working well. My seizures are more under control that when I first came here and I have them about once a month now. The seizures last about 30 seconds to a minute and there isn't much to be done except make sure I don't fall off something. I also have a history of having urinary crystals so I need to stay on a prescription urinary food for life. That prevents the crystals from forming. I also have a sensitive stomach so there is one type of food that helps both the crystals and my tummy issues.I like to greet people and will give a little head boop to your leg when I am looking for attention. I'm quite mellow as my medication makes me a little sedate to prevent seizures. However, I've recently taught myself how to use a cat wheel (see video below)! The people here were amazed that the most mellow cat in the shelter figured out how to use it.Likes: I love to be social with people. I also love to play! I'm a mellow boy who just loves love.Dislikes: I might be able to hang out with with other cats but I have tried to bully one cat in the shelter before and I've been bullied by some others. A very mellow small dog might be ok but in general I don't like dogs.Looking For: An adopter who is willing to work with my seizures and other special needs. My estimated birthdate is 4/21/2021.

Story
Hi, I'm the regal and dignified Leonard! I'm a fluffy friendly muffin maker. I love to play when I'm in the mood! I was previously hit by a car some years ago but I'm fully recovered. I have seasonal and food allergies so I need to eat a prescription food. I might be ok with another cat but I am on a strict diet of a prescription food.I'm very chill and I even tolerate belly rubs! I love to jump up high and look out windows. I'm in a foster home so if you would like to meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org.My estimated birthdate is 2/7/2020.
