Adoption Special 10-21 to 10-31-25 $75 for single cat and $125 for bonded pair. DOB 6/22/25 Mage is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Purrs a lot and likes being on laps. Playful and energetic. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit. Please fill out an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.

What my friends at OHS say about me:Is there a cat shaped hole in your heart? I can fix that!I have been known to shower my favorite people with love.I'm not overly needy and I'm happy to hang out while you binge watch your favorite TV show or read a book.I guess you could say I'm pretty "down-to-earth" - I like my feet on the floor! I can be sensitive to being picked up and held.Fearful Behavior: I can be worried about new people or new surroundings. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to go home to a calm environment. The type of home I'm looking for:It could be with you!
