Story
The calico is one of three kittens we "acquired," along with their mother, as malnourished strays in our rural neighborhood. After feeding them outside for a while, we have gotten them into an otherwise unused upstairs room. The orange kitten is male, the tabby (and of course the calico) are female. All are available for adoption. Of the three, the tabby girl is the most playful, the orange boy is the most wary, the calico is the most self-contained. All three have proved to be well balanced and adaptable; for example, they show appropriate wariness but without panic in their limited contact with our well-behaved and cat-tolerant dog. They are all on the quiet and gentle side, but becoming more playful as they have settled in. The pictures don't show it, but the kittens, like their mother, all have kinks in their tails.

Story
Eddie is a shy but playful feline who is slowly coming out of his shell in his foster home. He has a soft spot for other cats and loves to engage in playful antics with them.Eddie may be a bit reserved at first, but he’s learning to seek out pets and affection from his humans. His curiosity and desire for interaction are growing each day.One of Eddie’s favorite pastimes is basking in the sunshine and curling up in soft, cozy beds. He finds comfort and warmth in these simple pleasures.Eddie is also very food-motivated. His love for treats and meals is undeniable. But what’s even more endearing is the fun noises he makes as he tries to ‘echo locate’ you in the house. It’s his unique way of communicating and it adds to his charm. If you’re looking for a cat who is gradually learning to trust and show affection, and who has a playful side with other cats, Eddie could be your perfect match. He needs a patient and loving owner who can give him the time he needs to adjust and feel safe.Cats: Required to be adopted with a buddy or have another cat in the home.Dogs: Yes, has experience with small dogsKids: Older or adult only. Scares easilyMedical: He came in with swollen paw pads, aka Pillow paws. Feline Plasma cell pododermatitis is an immune mediated disease that cats can have that causes their paw pads to swell. He is been treated and the pillowing effect is decreasing. Once treated they can go into remission for a long time. It is not well known what causes the flair ups, but allergies may play a role. FIV can be associated but he is FIV/FELV negative.

Story
Josie is a sweet feline with a love for her fellow cats and a growing tolerance for humans. She’s a bit of a cat’s cat, preferring to engage her feline friends in play. At other times, she’s likely to be found trailing after other cats, trying to initiate a game or a chase. She keeps a watchful eye on humans, ensuring they maintain a respectful distance. Josie enjoys receiving pets when she’s in her safe place. While Josie is still getting used to people, she’s making daily progress. She requires an owner who can offer her patience and understanding as she adjusts to human interaction. If you’re a patient cat lover looking for a sweet cat who adores other felines, Josie could be your perfect match. She promises companionship to both her feline friends and her human family.

Good with kids, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
We got him from a family friend, he is about 4 years old we believe. He does have some behavioral issues but we believe that’s because he needs to be fixed. He was with another cat and everything was fine. He is super sweet and just wants loves and attention. He just needs a home where he will be loved, he is shy towards men but he will warm up. And he is good with children, he has been around younger kids and let them pet him.

Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Our cat Lucy is dog tolerant, ready to accept snuggles, then will leave you in peace to go have some fun outside. She is in good health, about 12 years old (we think), litter box trained, spayed, has her claws, active and fit, and loves her life as a mostly outdoor/sometimes indoor cat. She is great with dogs and would be good with slightly older children who understand how to handle a cat. She is a solid little hunter and would make a great barn cat. Comes with all supplies and some food.
