Story
These sweet boys are brothers from the same litter.Due to multiple life circumstances, I can not care for these boys anymore. I’m so sad but I want to make sure they are happy and loved and taken care of, and my situation won’t allow me to properly care for them in a couple months time. They have never been apart since they were born, so I want to make sure they stay together. They are very shy at first, but become loving cuddle bugs once they feel comfortable. They love cuddling up, window watching, and a warm lap to sit on. They also love a running facet lol. They do good with small dogs, and are okay with other cats.Art (the grey shorthair) does seem to have a slight issue with pottying. He will sometimes miss the litter box itself, and sometimes pees slightly outside the box. To remedy this, I always make sure to have peepads just outside the box.Other than that, these two are great chill buddies.I just want to do right by them and make sure these sweet boys find their forever home.

Story
Ramón is a really sweet and affectionate cat, I adopted him off the streets of Portland. He was very skinny and very poor shape. After taking him in and taking him to a vet he recovered very well and has been great as an indoor cat. He loves sleeping in bed and cuddling he’s also very playful and vocal when he sees you arrived home. I would really like to see him find a loving home and know he’s in good hands, he deserves nothing but love and care after his life on the streets.

Story
Delilah, 6 yars old,  may be shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality really shines. She loves attention and happily soaks up all the pets you’re willing to give. While she’s usually a laid-back girl, she does have playful bursts of energy and enjoys interactive playtime—especially if it involves one of her favorite things: ice cubes! Delilah would thrive in a quiet home without other animals or small children. She may take a little time to trust, but once she does, she becomes a loving and loyal companion. She lives in Vancouver with her owner and her rehoming fee is $60 For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Tyrion (“Ty”) is 6 years old and the definition of a cat’s cat. He’s standoffish at first, independent, opinionated, and absolutely convinced that most humans are beneath him — but if you become his person, prepare to be adored. Ty showers his favorite human with cuddles, aggressive kneading, loud purring, and the occasional paw pet directly on your face. He’ll make you feel like the chosen one. Ty is also a nervous, easily startled guy who takes time to adjust to changes. Even after he trusts you, he may still randomly spook himself and sprint away for no apparent reason — that’s just part of his charm, so don’t take it personally! One of Tyrion’s best features is his hilariously strange meow. He’s very chatty, especially when begging for treats (which he absolutely loves). Fishy treats, Temptations, tube treats… he’s not picky. But at 15 pounds, Ty would like us to mention that moderation is important, no matter what he tells you. Tyrion would do best as an only pet. He gets stressed around high-energy animals, and stress can cause litter box issues. A very calm cat or low-energy dog might work in the right situation, but a quiet home where he can be king of the castle is ideal.  If he is exposed to neighboring cats he can be territorial. He’s not particularly playful with people, but he’ll occasionally entertain himself with toys (which will go home with him!) and he’s surprisingly talented at hunting bugs and spiders. He also enjoys chasing his own tail from time to time. Ty is currently eating a prescription urinary care diet due to previous urinary crystals, and his food will go with him to his new home. With his silky-soft fur, goofy quirks, dramatic personality, and selective but deeply devoted affection, Tyrion is a wonderfully stereotypical cat: independent, stubborn, and completely worth the effort. Give him patience and understanding, and once you earn a place in his heart, he’ll love you forever.  Tyrion is indoor only and his rehoming fee is $100.  He lives in Keizer with his owners. Story
Hera, 2 years old is a work-in-progress reformed feral cat loves attention and affection when she is in the mood. She was born on the street with Dauntless and took a lot longer than Dauntless to adjust being inside. There are moments where Hera seems like she's bipolar: one moment she'll be okay and happy, then the next she'll be agitated and hiss. (But I think that's partly because she doesn't do too well with a lot of other cats and she doesn't do too well with other females who act like "queens" of the house). There are other moments when she likes to just lay next to you and sleep, but not be petted or held, but there are other moments where she likes to play with toys, specifically lasers and feathers. She loves to eat and she especially loves wet food. She loves shelves and cat trees with soft beds and she likes to hang out on balconies, but, because she used to be a feral, I would make sure the space is enclosed. Hera was born on the streets and has been with with my family since we picked her up off the street and it's taken her a little while to warm up to us and become accustomed to being inside so it will take her a little bit of time getting accustomed to a new home and owner. Once she gets used to her new home and family, she'll settle down and as long as she feels like she isn't going to hop from one family to the next, she'd be an amazing new companion. Hera really is a loving and sweet little girl. She would do best as an only cat or maybe a second cat who's a male and she did okay with our older dog, though she mostly just ignored him. Why we're rehoming her: She doesn't do well with my black female cat and she deserves to be in a home where she gets more attention than she already does.   Hera lives in Gresham with her family and her rehoming fee is $30.  Indoor only please.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Brooklyn is a beautiful, approximately 1-year-old cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was found on the street, so her past is a mystery—but she’s clearly ready to write a much happier next chapter with a family of her own. This sweet girl is incredibly friendly and affectionate once she feels comfortable. She’ll flop right at your feet to ask for belly rubs, greet you with adorable head butts, and show off her impressive purr motor when she’s happy (which is often!). Brooklyn also has a playful side—she loves her toys and will even bring them to you for a game of fetch. Brooklyn would do best as the only cat in the home so she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. She enjoys peaceful moments, like sitting in a sunny window watching the world go by and feeling the fresh air. Because she can be nervous around loud noises and new people, she’s looking for a calm, quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace and truly thrive. Apply to meet Brooklyn today and give this sweet girl the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for.   Brooklyn lives in Hillsboro with her foster family and her rehoming fee is $125  Brooklyn's adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Kitty is a beautiful 13-year-old tortoiseshell who is as affectionate as they come. She’s a total lap cat who loves to snuggle and soak up attention, and despite her age, she still has a playful side — especially when chaser toys, or her own tail, are involved! Curious by nature, Kitty always wants to be part of whatever you’re doing and will happily “help” with your day-to-day tasks. She would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can be the only animal and have plenty of company throughout the day. Kitty enjoys gentle companionship and would do well with respectful children who understand animal body language. Her perfect day includes a warm lap, a few chin scratches, and a chance to explore the outdoors to take in all the new smells and sounds. Kitty is being rehomed through no fault of her own — her current owner’s schedule has changed, meaning she’s often home alone, which has caused some stress-related litter box issues. With more time, attention, and a peaceful environment, Kitty will quickly settle back into her happy, loving self.  Kitty lives in Portland with her owner and her rehoming fee is $50. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Is this seat taken? My name is Samwise, Sam for short, and I am looking for a warm lap to snooze on. HEALTH NOTICE: My people believe I may have been hit by a car before they found me in the garden. My jaw hurts sometimes so it’s best if my food is softened. I have other symptoms of injuries that didn’t heal correctly. I can be a little clumsy and sometimes I hurt a little, but all that doesn’t slow me down! I just wanted to let you know since it makes me a little different. I’m really just an ordinary kitty. I like to jump up on windowsills and watch the world. I like to scratch so please give me a post or something fun for my claws. I’ll play with fuzzy mice, cardboard boxes, and I love messing up the bathroom mat. I also have an affinity to jump in the shower or tub after you’re done using them. Maybe I want to wash my paws. I’m not particularly shy with people and I’m cautiously curious of new things. But most of all, I want to sit with you. Or on you. I purr the moment you look my way or pat my head. Good with other cats? Probably not. I stayed at another home for a short while and the resident cat and I did not get along too well. Good with dogs? Yes! I like to play with my dog brothers, but I’ll need a dog that can be gentle. Good with kids? I would prefer older kids who will understand that I’ll need gentle handling. I am spayed. I am not declawed. I am up to date on vaccines. I have tested negative for kitty leukemia and HIV/AIDS. Potential adopters with mobility issues beware: I do like to occasionally pounce on the passing foot or run across your path when I’m feeling playful. Due to my health needs, it would be best if I remain an indoor kitty. I live in Salem with my caregiver and my rehoming fee is $100.
