ZUCCHINI - DMH, male, neutered, orange & white, DOB Aug 2/22 Meet Zucchini - White & Orange sweetheart  This beautiful boy is only two years old. He is really struggling in the store environment and is so sad. He lets us pet him and he's quiet and has the softest little meow. He was transferred to our Rescue from a shelter. We really need to get him into a loving home where he can know what being part of a loving family is to heal his broken heart. He has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his vaccines. Story
Hurley was surrendered to Abbey cats and thankfully so. He is approximately 9 or 10 yrs old and wasn’t in great shape. He was soon diagnosed with diabetes (now in remission) and he also had severely infected teeth which has all been taken care of. He is now starting to understand how feels to be healthier. At first, it was hard for him to trust people and he didn’t like to be touched, pet and definitely not picked up. However now he loves to have his chin, head and neck scratched and kissed, gently pet on his head and back and totally enjoys it when you talk to him. He is a little independent but an amazing guy but, don’t let him suck you into feeding him too often with his persuasive ways. He can’t jump up onto the bed or sofa so if you would like him to sleep or sit with you, he will need stairs to climb up (which he learnt within a day with treats of course). He has come a long way and is showing more affection, loyalty and charming character. He doesn’t do well with other cats, dogs and or children. He is best suited in a quiet home and will need someone who understands diabetes and take BG readings (Blood Glucose readings that will need to be taken every 3 days). Feeding should be 90% protein (wet food) 10% carbs (dry food) to keep the glucose levels down. Diabetic in remission, will need BG levels taken every 3 days.

Story
Mithras was an orphaned baby who was rescued and was placed with another litter when he was a newborn. He has grown up with mom and his littermates Hero and Astarte and although he doesn’t look like them, they are definitely his family! Mithras is an adorable and cuddly kitten. He has gorgeously thick black fur that is shiny, and the sweetest yellow eyes. He loves being touched and held, often coming up to us and settling down on our laps for some love. Mithras is usually the first to greet us at the kitten room door and eagerly waits for his meals. He likes to climb and is often found on top of the cat tree. He is incredibly playful, friendly, and perhaps his favourite thing to do is pounce on one of his siblings and wrestle! He is an all around adorable kitten! Mithras needs to be adopted with one of his littermates (Hero and Astarte) or with another kitten of a similar age. Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.

Story
Zoya is a black fluffy girl with white toes and white streaks throughout her coat. She has a very warm soul shown when you lock eyes with her, she will often just approach and start purring. Her favourite place to sleep is near her human- the purrs are very relaxing! Zoya is very smart and playful. Her favourite is to carry her toy springs in her mouth around her home though she is never too far from her human. If you are looking for a sweet, sensitive friend, look no further than Zoya! Zoya could thrive in any home environment but must be adopted with one of her siblings (Ludmila or Lugosi) or have a similar aged kitten already in the home. Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.

Story
Lugosi, also known as Lu, may look like a distinguished gentleman but he doesn't mind getting his tuxedo a little dirty. Whether it's playing with toys or his siblings, Lu is always ready to have a good time! Lugosi wears a dashing tux and has a little white moustache. He loves to run, jump and play and sometimes even chases his tail when he is excited! After all that exercise, he seeks comfort near or on his human. Lu is very friendly with everyone he meets and is the perfect little addition to your home! Lugosi would thrive in any home environment but needs to be adopted with one of his siblings (Zoya or Ludmila), a similar aged kitten, or have a playful furry friend at home. Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.

Story
BISCOTTO | MALE | Approx. DOB May 20, 2024 Ciao amore! I’m Biscotto, the cutest, kindest kitty around. In fact, I’m the epitome of gentle love. I’m very curious and I often explore on my own. Here at the shelter I’m especially interested in all these pups they have around (and I’m very careful with them all)! I love to play and I’m quite the independent spirit. Although I can be a bit shy and reserved at first, once I’m comfortable my sweetness is truly a sight to behold. If you’re looking for a feline friend to curl up with while you’re have your morning espresso, look no further. Adopt me and I’ll be one contento Biscotto! Biscotto has been: • Neutered • Vaccinated • Dewormed • Treated for fleas and ticks You can find more videos and pictures of Biscotto on our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok pages!
