Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.WAFFLE hails from North Spirit Lake and is mum to the Breakfast Litter (Cereal, Granola, Porridge and Smoothie) who came south to find  their loving families. She’s spayed, vaccinated including her rabies shot, microchipped, had dewormer and also Revolution. She’s also been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. She was just a baby having babies but she was a very caring mumma to her kittens and after doing her duty, it’s now her time to find that perfect home. She’s very loving and lives to sir beside her foster while she gets combed. Her fur wad pretty knitted when she first arrived but now it’s tangle free and silk soft. She doesn’t purr but makes a cute chirpy noise when she’s happy. She will sit on your lap but not for long as she always has one eye on what her kittens are doing so will jump off to check on them. Her foster thinks that the cat she truly is hasn’t come out yet as she spends all her time guarding her kittens. WAFFLE is litter box trained and has been since first coming into foster. She lives to curl up in her cat bed  and also sit in the hammock that’s in a large crate, which up to a couple of weeks ago she would sleep in at night with her kittens. WAFFLE’s fostered  with puppies and it did take her sometime to warm up to them as she was always defensive of her kittens if they came too close. Now the kittens are more independent she has relaxed a lot more around them and will allow them to be in her personal space. She’s yet to be caught cuddling next to a puppy but that may just be around the corner. Che will suit be in a home either way a dog especially a cat savvy one but we still recommend a slow, monitored introduction while the dog is kept leashed. She has another cat in her foster home and they do live in harmony but again, not snuggling up together yet. Children should be aged 6 plus and be loving, caring and considerate to animals. If WAFFLE sounds like the fit for your family then please submit an adoption application to meet her.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 3, 2025, 7:37 pm

Story
DOB: 2016 Chenille and her best friend Neville were found as strays and came to Forgotten Ones from an animal control centre. They are extremely friendly and people-oriented, so they must have belonged to someone’s family and were abandoned. Fortunately, the pair are easy-going and were immediately comfortable and affectionate with their foster family. Chenille loves attention and will rub against your leg to get your attention. She is a purring machine as soon as you get close to her and amps up the volume when you pet her. She adores being in your company and will follow you from room to room as your go about your day. She is even happy to be with you as you do mundane chores such as cleaning the litter box--or maybe she is making sure you clean the box thoroughly. Chenille is a good-natured cat and is in good health with no litterbox issues. She has a fondness for playtime and will chase after the laser beam and cat toys with great gusto. Chenille and Neville will be wonderful pets for your family, and you will fall in love with them quickly. They must be adopted together. Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Please email the completed form to contact@forgottenones.ca. Adoption fees are $250.00 for adult cats (one year and older), $300.00 for kittens, and $175.00 for senior cats (10+ years old). The fee includes: veterinary health check, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatments NOTE: Young kittens may not have had their spay/neuter surgery and final vaccinations at the time of their bio posting, but they are included in the adoption fee.  March 5, 2025, 5:00 pm

Story
Meet Betty Boop, this social butterfly will greet you at the door. She’s very curious and can adapt to any new environment quickly. She doesn’t like to be over stimulated and this can cause her to nip alittle bit. Small children is not ideal and she doesn’t mind being around small and calm dogs. Besides this, Betty Boop is very sweet and will demand pets on her own terms.

Story
You might be on a left-swiping trend, but when you see Mr Handsome, you will swipe right for sure! This beautiful boy is seeking his fur-ever home. He has the softest fur, which you will want to stroke again and again! This sweet ten-year-old gentleman is extremely social and friendly. He loves to be petted by just about anybody, and can often be found playing with catnip toys, wand toys, and any other toy he can find. He is a cheerful, high-energy boy who loves to play! When he is not chasing toys, this sweet soul can be found curled up snuggling on the bed, or purring in your lap. You can even carry him around - he is super chill! Mr Handsome is on prednisone to manage his IMNA anemia (just one pill daily!), which makes him more thirsty and hungry than usual. He can be very interested in human food, so it’s best to move him to a separate room when there is food preparation or eating taking place. Mr Handsome would do best as an only pet. He has not been tested with children. What do you think, is it time to swipe right? If Mr Handsome sounds like your soulmate, please reach out to Team Cat Rescue today!
