DOB: 2016 Chenille and her best friend Neville were found as strays and came to Forgotten Ones from an animal control centre. They are extremely friendly and people-oriented, so they must have belonged to someone’s family and were abandoned. Fortunately, the pair are easy-going and were immediately comfortable and affectionate with their foster family. Chenille loves attention and will rub against your leg to get your attention. She is a purring machine as soon as you get close to her and amps up the volume when you pet her. She adores being in your company and will follow you from room to room as your go about your day. She is even happy to be with you as you do mundane chores such as cleaning the litter box--or maybe she is making sure you clean the box thoroughly. Chenille is a good-natured cat and is in good health with no litterbox issues. She has a fondness for playtime and will chase after the laser beam and cat toys with great gusto. Chenille and Neville will be wonderful pets for your family, and you will fall in love with them quickly. They must be adopted together. Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Please email the completed form to contact@forgottenones.ca. Adoption fees are $250.00 for adult cats (one year and older), $300.00 for kittens, and $175.00 for senior cats (10+ years old). The fee includes: veterinary health check, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatments NOTE: Young kittens may not have had their spay/neuter surgery and final vaccinations at the time of their bio posting, but they are included in the adoption fee. Cinnamon came to the shelter on May 15 2024. He was living in a home with many other cats and they needed to downsize. Cinnamon is bonded with Nutmeg as that is what the previous owner noted. Cinnamon is a little nervous when first meeting someone but he will warm up quickly as he enjoys head scratches and cheek rubs. Come have a visit with this sweet guy, You will be glad you did.

She will come find you during the day to say hi and to keep you company while you work or relax. She loves to be petted, and she’ll even accept belly rubs from you! Latte’s luxurious fur requires daily care, so it’s a good thing she enjoys regular brushings! Latte also enjoys playtime, especially with her laser toy.Latte is an official “lap cat” who will climb into your lap for snuggles and pets. She will sit on your chest while you are sleeping and adore you with sweet head butts and kisses. She is a darling with so much love to give to her new family! Latte can be startled by new visitors initially, but she’ll come out again pretty quickly to investigate the situation. Once she feels safe, she transforms into a friendly girl who wants to be petted and fawned over!Latte is purr-fectly happy to wait for you to wake up in the morning, enjoy a few snuggles with you in bed, and then have her breakfast! She enjoys her wet food and especially loves her daily treats. Latte hasn’t had the best experience living with other cats in her previous life, due to her gentle and unassertive personality, so she needs to be the only cat in the household. She hasn’t been tested with kids or dogs, but she may adapt to either after a slow introduction on her terms.
