ADOPT DARLA! "September Spec-cat-ular" Darla came to us after a rough start in life but you sure can't tell that now. She is 1 year old. She likes to play with toys and bird watch. She prefers not to be picked up but will sit beside you and purr. She is a purring machine! She loves to be petted. Her favorite is a rub under the chin or behind the ears. She can be a bit of a loner when it comes to other cats. She does play with them but not a lot. She doesn't mind small dogs. She is a beautiful girl and ready for a home! **Reduced fee for Sept: $50. This includes spay/neuter, deworming, vaccines, FIV negative, flea/tick free and microchip. Adopters will also receive a $50 Chewy gift card! Apply at www.arlorescue.com

Story
She is very sweet and friendly, but other cats seem to make her nervous.  She prefers Purina EN dry food and likes creamy seafood wet food.  Adopted 8/2021 and returned 9/2022 due to peeing outside of litter box but she wasn’t on medicine consistently.  Owner loved her but decided to return her.  She uses a “regular” litter box that has clay litter in it, but she occasionally will pee on a puppy pad.  She is on Fluoxetine to reduce stress and hopefully keep her from peeing in places other than the litter box.  Fluoxetine is a gel that goes on the hairless area of an ear flap – switch ear flaps daily.  This medication is in a transdermal gel applicator and is easy to give.  The cost of this medicine is $75.34 for three pens on an auto ship for every 12 weeks.  This medicine does have to be set up by her vet and Feline Specialties does this for her now.  She would love to have a home of her own as the only pet in the home. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  All kitties have Home Again microchips implanted and are registered at no charge to the owner.  Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65; If adopting two cats - $135; If 65 years or older adopting two cats - $125.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Sheridan in Tulsa on the east side of Sheridan behind Charlie’s Chicken.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Our website is www.streetcatstulsa.org and Facebook is www.facebook.com/streetcatsinc. All people wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats and have all members who live with them come in also.  We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area.November 3, 2024, 12:14 pm

Lola is a black and white female who came back to StreetCats after being adopted 9/12/2023.  Her previous adopter moved back to New York but for some reason they never bonded.  Lola is very sweet and she’s enjoying being back in StreetCats with lots of petting and attention.  Cats in StreetCats are not caged and have several rooms to run around in.
