Bentley is the perfect combination of the unadulterated wild and a huge capacity for love! He is an alpha male and will take charge of you, your household and any other pets! He grew up in a huge pride with 5 adults and 5 rambunctious siblings. He is a growler, letting everyone, to include his toys, know he's boss! His fierce nature comes out at feeding time! He will eat anything that isn't nailed down and will fight to get to the food! On the other hand he is the biggest snuggle bunny ever! He prefers to cuddle on your chest, bury his face into your neck, give lots of kisses and just purr up a storm! Hi there, my name is Bellestar and I am looking for a new home through PAWS-OK.  They rescued me, my mom, and my three littermates from the Bethany Shelter in April.  We all had caught upper respiratory infections there and mine was the most severe - affecting my eyes especially.  For a while we though possibly my right eye would need to be removed, but the doc, at the time I was spayed, said it was healthy, just fogged over, and suggested a steroid ointment to help it.  As of this bio, we are working on it.  The eye gives me no trouble. I love to play with my siblings and do all kitten related things. (I don't like the ointment much though!) UPDATE 1/1/25:  The steroid ointment didn't resolve the issue as we hoped.  Anyone considering adopting her should already be established with a veterinarian and have the finances to remove the eye if it becomes necessary.  Generally speaking eye removals can run anywhere between $500 - $900. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   January 14, 2025, 2:16 pm
