Tracker is ready to have a home full of good naps, healthy boundaries, and love. She lived the hard life on the streets of Dayton, where she raised a delightful little boy who has since been adopted, and now it’s her turn! She takes a little time to learn to trust, but once she’s ready, she’ll let you know. Tracker loves to say, “good morning,” at breakfast time with head-bonks, pets, and she relishes a fresh bowl of cold water. Her favorite treat is a small dish with a Churu in it (chicken and cheese flavor, thank you). Not ready for lap-sitting, just yet, Tracker prefers to sit near her favorite humans when she’s feeling sociable, and she welcomes attention and pets. She would do best in a calm home with a couple of sheltered nap spots (a cat tree with a cave or even just an open carrier). She does quite well with other cats, mostly just keeping to herself. While she is generally an independent lady who just wants to enjoy some peace and quiet, she enjoys a good crinkle toy, or a soft ball, when play-time calls! Add some ‘purr’ to your life, with cutie boy, Burr! This sweet chubby cheek boy is as snuggly as they come. He loves to curl up with you, purr his little heart out, and be your bedtime buddy. At night especially, he’s the best cuddle partner around. He’s also super talkative and will happily “chat” with you throughout the day. And when it comes to other cats—he’s all about making friends!Burr is known to be a little dramatic if you try to leave the room without giving him the love and attention he feels he deserves. If he’s talking to you, he expects to be acknowledged—he knows his worth!Like all of us, he’s had a few struggles. He has had some bowel issues in the past, though his new medicine has made a world of difference. He’s also FIV positive, which sounds scary but really just means he needs a loving, low-stress home and good care (and he has lots of years of love to give!). He’s not the biggest fan of dogs, though with time and patience he can adjust—but with cats, he’s all in!At the end of the day, this boy is pure sweetness wrapped up in a furry little package. He just needs the right home to see past “the ugly” and embrace all the good and love he has to give. We believe Burr to be around 2 years old, and currently weighs around 10 lbs (but still needs to put on a few more pounds). You may apply to adopt Burr at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Dipper and Mabel Pines:Just like their characters in Gravity Falls, Dipper and Mabel are a dynamic duo who love to explore the great mysteries around them. They are very adventurous and are consistently zooming around the room, darting in and out of tunnels, climbing, using the cardboard scratchers, and playing with toys. Mabel loves to drag a teaser toy around and, just like a pesky brother, Dipper will try to steal it! They are both very affectionate and love pets as long as they can return to play when desired so they don't miss out on any excitement. ☺️ Both of them are very food motivated and run to their wet food every morning and night. They're also litter box pros and are navigating making new friends. This is Yara! She has one gold eye and one green eye. She's a calm girl! Her foster has tried to talk her into playing with toys, but she would much rather hop onto the couch with her person, get some pets, and fall asleep curled up (always making contact). She got comfortable in her foster home pretty quickly, but sometimes loud noises throw her off and she will hide. She HATES the vacuum, so much so her foster will move Yara to another room or just using a broom to clean up instead, in order to keep Yara's stress levels down. Yara loves to look out the window, but has not many any advances towards the door. She was destined for the couch life, and is loving the life of indoor luxury!. She is a lap cat, and loves to be pet. She is not yet into the idea of being held, but isn’t as opposed to it as some kitties are. She would do well in a loving home that’s typically quiet. She gets along with her foster siblings - They started off very close but as she’s gotten more comfortable in her foster home, she has started to attached to her people and less to the other kitties. Our vet estimates Yara at just barely over a year old. Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We even offer getting acquainted period so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty!
