Nemu is a 12 year old cat that has been with the same owner her entire life. She is a vocal cat that enjoys sunbathing and chirping to birds. Nemu takes her time warming up to people but loves cuddles and affection. Her picky nature has led her to dislike young children. She will run and hide from them when able (for short visits) but has not tolerated the addition of a permanent human sibling. She has been with the same dog since she was a year old and even tolerated living with an coon hound sibling for 2 years. She was able to warm up to a male cat after months of very distant introduction but did not like having a kitten around. Nemu would love to be able to have undivided attention on demand and a lap to lounge on for hours.

I have had my cat for 4 years. She got out and got pregnant. Her litter was born on 09/10/2025. I originally named her Little Miss because she was the runt of the litter and the only girl. The boy kittens would push her out of the way and put their paws over the other titties so she couldn't get any milk. She was always crying because she was hungry and I fed her infant formula with a tiny bottle when she was a tiny baby. After a couple weeks Ebony ,her mother, started giving her her own nursing sessions. I had to make sure the boys wouldn't ake her wet food at dinner time ass well. She likes to play but she never destroyed things like the joys did. She is more of a sweetheart. She like to lay beside you or cuddle with her mama cat. She is totally litter trained and she knows what the word NO means. She would make a perfect pet foe someone who wants to love her and be loved back. Im having a major spine surgery January 15th and can hardly take care of Ebony my ESA. I need a good home

I came from a house where I was living with 53 other cats! Most of us were sick and flea infested. Our owner voluntarily surrendered us to do what was best. Now that I'm back up to health, I'm ready for a new start! Mavis has been vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered and tested negative for FELV which is all included in the adoption fee. This cat is FIV positive which means that their immune system could become a little weaker than a non FIV cat. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs and is only transmitted to other cats through mating and deep puncture wounds. It is not spread via grooming or sharing food bowls or litter boxes. So as long as they like other cats they can be adopted to a home with them whether the existing cats are FIV or not. FIV+ cats live long happy lives and usually live just as long as non FIV cats. If you would like to adopt this cat, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays) All cats must leave the shelter in a carrier. If you do not bring one with you, one must be purchased at the shelter if available for $6.
