Story
Henny is the little princess of her litter. She and her brothers, Cooper and Egg, were born in a chicken coop, but have been indoor kitties for many weeks. The boys are pretty busy and energetic, but Henny is a dainty little girl. She makes it a point to stay away from them when they are bouncing around, and she really likes to be up on a lap where they can't bother her. Like Cooper, she loves being held on her back like a baby and having the back of her neck rubbed.

Story
Egg and his siblings, Henny and Cooper, were born in a chicken coop. Their sweet mama was hit by a car, so they've been indoor kitties for many weeks now. Egg is a chubby male kitten who loves people. He can be very vocal when he wants attention and he has tried climbing legs a few times (but he's pretty good with nail trims which curbs that). He loves being held, carried, and cuddled. Rubbing the base of his ears seems to hypnotize him...his eyes glaze over and he relaxes. He's the largest of the siblings by quite a bit, so he may be a good sized adult.

Story
Howie is an adult, neutered male cat, probably born in late fall/early winter 2023.  He was rescued in a small town after being outdoors for a while.  He's still in a quarantine apartment for neuter recovery, but he's loving every minute of being warm and cozy after the recent weather.  So far, he's been easy going and mellow, getting a lot of sleep and good food to build up his strength.  He has a soft, medium-length coat that is a little sticky looking and mussed right now, but once he's had a time to do some thorough grooming, he'll be gorgeous.  He doesn't object to a little grooming/brushing either, which is nice for a longer coated cat. December 14, 2024, 6:32 pm

Story
Abigail is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born in 2022 or 2023.  She arrived with Angelica.  We are not sure how they are related.  Both just arrived and are decompressing in a quarantine apartment.  They are a very cute little pair, all fluffy coats and big glowing eyes.  They seem to enjoy each other's company and don't mind snuggling together. They might enjoy being adopted together if you are looking for a congenial pair.December 14, 2024, 6:09 pm

Story
$50.00 ADOPTION FEE! Mika is a 10 year old ginger boy who came to SVFA after his owner went into assisted living. He has had a lot of adjustment after being an "only child" in the same home for 10 years with a stable routine. He was also accustomed to being let outside for nighttime adventures. Mika has made great strides after a month in foster care. He loves lounging in a cat tree (where he can be at eye level for Eskimo kisses), curling up on kitchen chairs, or napping on the bathroom vanity. At night he'll do some exploring indoors and seek out his foster mom for affection. Given his quiet upbringing, Mika would do better in a calm home without small children. Although he'd prefer being an only cat, he tolerates visits from a boisterous 6 month-old kitten, and co-exists with another adult foster cat (Domino) in the foster home. Mika is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Call Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals @ 701-840-5047 or email jenni.svfa@gmail.com for adoption details. Senior cat adoption fee for Mika is $50.00. For all animal adoptions, you must complete a Pre-Adoption application. Please email jenni.svfa@gmail.com to receive a copy via email or US Postal Service. Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals is a foster home based rescue located in Valley City, North Dakota.
