Story
Lizzy was a messy rock star when we got her with her friend, Ace, from a Wilmington feral colony. We got her feeling well again and she has turned in to a very sweet girl. She is still a little timid, but she is making great strides in a short period of time.  We are only adopting kittens in pairs or to homes that already have a family cat (roommates not included.) All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption. Please fill in our application via http://www.felinematchmakers.org We only adopt kittens and young cats out within a one hour radius of Wilmington, NC to those over 21 years old. Occasionally we make exceptions for adult cats, but we are not a transport company. IF YOU DO NOT MEET THESE GUIDELINES, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED. ##2136368##

Story
I was found wondering the streets at the intersection of 378 in Conway. Unfortunately, I am FeLv+ and need to be the only cat in the house or only with other FeLv + cats. I was brought to Kind Keeper where I get better every day. I am a sweet boy and love head scratches. My adopters must be 23 years old.

Story
Grits and Shrimp are sister cats that we adopted from a humane society in 2018. They were around a year old with birthday estimated to be July 2017. We estimate them to be 7 years old. They need to go to a new home together. Grits is smaller and more friendly and very vocal. She hasn't met a stranger. Shrimp is larger and more shy and skittish. She takes a while to warm up to people and strangers but they love to cuddle and sleep together. They are sweet cats. Have never bitten or been aggressive. We are unable to keep them due to health issues with a child. They do shed a ton. We ask a $20 rehome fee total to confirm you are series. We will give them to you with 2 carriers and whatever food we have remaining at that time. They do not like treats and aren't big on playing with toys.

Story
This young lady is with a foster Mom learning to adapt as an indoor kitty living with people. Her progress has been remarkable. She is as sweet as can be without a mean bone in her petite body. She is shy and a bit withdrawn until she feels safe and sound. Loud noises can scare her into hiding. She will be best in a quiet home. She gets along with other cats. Zelda is FIV positive. Don’t let that discourage you from adopting her. She is very healthy. Read below facts of FIV. Please contact Daren Watson; founder and owner of the Sanctuary. It best to text her if are interested in meeting Zelda. +1 (843) 455-6199 Quick Facts of FIV: FIV is a retrovirus that compromises a cat’s immune system. FIV is a feline-only virus that cannot be transmitted to humans. Cats who test positive for FIV can live for many years without serious symptoms. A positive FIV test result SHOULD NOT be a death sentence. FIV is most often transmitted through a bite from an infected cat Therefore, cats who test positive for FIV CAN live with FIV-negative cats with minimal risk of transmission as long as they do not fight to the point of biting. A positive FIV test in a cat is not necessarily a diagnosis. False positives can occur. We strongly recommend against testing community cats for FIV. Spaying and neutering is key to preventing FIV spread by minimizing biting behavior that is the main mode of transmission. More and more shelters realize FIV-positive cats are adoptable and creating lifesaving adoption programs for them.
