Story
I got Banjo in summer of 2023 because he walked into a friends house and he wouldn't leave in a suburb of Chicago, IL. She could not keep him so we met up for a cat exchange. He did not have an owner and was around 3 months old. We estimate that he is about 1.5 years old. I am looking for a new home for him because I have to move in with my family and I am unable to keep him. He is sweet, playful, and affectionate. He oddly enough, loves strangers and exploring new things. He isn't scared of humans and he purrs all day and loves people very much. He will snuggle up to you all day if you let him and he loves to follow people around the house and see what they're up to.

Story
Zuzu is a beautiful girl who is very interested in the world around her and she knows "only fools rush in," so she takes lots of time to scope things out - she's no fool! Zuzu may be timid but she loves to flrt with nice people and show her gorgeous floofy tail, draping it and twirling it around so everyone can see how stunning her plumes are (LOL). She also flops down for belly rubs but be careful...it might be a trap. Just take it nice and slow and she will reward the righteous with sweet slow blinks and eventually you can pet that pretty white belly! Janie and Zuzu lived outdoors for much of their young lives, so they just need someone who will let them really take their time. It could take many months for the girls to warm up but it will pay dividend. These two girls really do like people and want to be close - their instincts just still tell them to run from people until they really know them. But they are learning and they both have such sweet purrs especially when they know they are getting soft pets and good treats! Thankfully they love their churu treats, so it makes it that much easier to start bonding right away! ##1635518##

She was going to be thrown out by the previous people who had her as a kitten so I came to take care of her. Shes a loving kitty but has pretty bad attachment anxieties, and needs lots of patience and affection.

I’m little, but I’m beautiful, bold, and know just what I want out of life! And right now, what I really want is a forever home with a family with a lot of love to share. I’m a fearless kitten who loves to explore my foster home and play chase with my sister and the resident dogs. So, I would just LOVE a forever home where I have another cat or dog to play with, but as long as I get plenty of affection and attention, I’d be just great as an only pet. If you’re looking for a sweet, beautiful, black kitty who purrs like a freight train and loves her family fiercely, contact Best Friend Pet Adoption (adoption@bfpa.org) and tell them you want a little DIVA in your life! If I seem a little shy, don’t worry. Once I come out of my shell a bit, I shine just like a diamond! Let me tell you more about me. Despite my initial shyness, I am a curious, inquisitive girl with a playful streak. Get out the feather toy or the laser pointer, and it’s Game On! I’m still a kitten, so I need plenty of stimulation and entertainment. I would really love to have an older cat in the home who can teach me the ropes about being a Big Kitty. But if you can only have one pet, that’s fine, too, since I’m pretty good at entertaining myself. Treat yourself to a sweet, gentle little gem of a kitten! My name is Devi, and I’m hoping that you and I will become best friends! I’m a tortie kitten with a whole lot of love to give. It doesn’t take much for me to start purring, and I have such a sweet personality that I would be the perfect companion for just about anyone. I’m still young, so I have a lot of playful energy and would love to have another cat friend (maybe my twin sister Darsi?) to run and play-wrestle with. I would even get along with a dog, as long as it is nice to tiny kitties! But as long as I get plenty of attention and activity, I could be an only pet, too. Even though my foster mom says I’m a total sweetheart, it would be best if kids in the home are at least six years old and know how to handle kittens safely. Wouldn’t you just love coming home to a beautiful kitty who greets you with a comforting rumble purr and a cuddle? Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption (adoption@bfpa.org) to find out how to adopt me. I can’t wait to be your snuggle buddy!
