She is sweet and beautiful and needs to be the only cat in a caring home. She does NOT get along with other cats. Story
Markette, born approximately 5/17/2024, is a gorgeous, fluffy, black and white beauty with bunny-soft fur and an adorable smudged nose face. She is low-key, submissive, and longs to be someone’s spoiled lap kitty. Markette is Feline Leukemia positive, but is asymptomatic, so she should still have many years ahead of her as long as kept securely indoors and up to date with routine check ups. Story
ROMEO would love to find his lifetime of love adopter. He’s about 4 years old and FIV+. He can live with non FIV cats if they get along. He's currently fostering with several cats but he can be a little unpredictable sometimes and go after one or two if they set him off. He’s a healthy social boy who really likes people and is one of the first to say hello to visitors. He would be content being the only kitty getting undivided attention.  Apply to adopt at www.sparklecatrescue.org ##1323495##

Story
Flynn has such a huge and, well, very fluffy tail! He’s still shy and will need someone who gives him plenty of time to settle in.  He will come for pets and attention when he wants to visit. He’s a pretty independent cat most of the time, but loves to play with other cats and toys. He needs to be adopted with his sister Emmy or to a home with another cat  Apply to be approved to meet n greet at his foster home and see if you’re a good match. www.sparklecatrescue.org .....#catlover #tabbycat #fluffycattail #rescuecats #catsofig #adoptacat #sparklecatrescue #durhamnc #mebanenc #chapelhillnc #carrboronc #raleighnc #catsofinstagram #meownday #purrpurrpurr #adoptthehardtoadoptones #fosteringsaveslives Apply to adopt at www.sparklecatrescue.org   ##1472884##

Story
Nickname "icky lady". Ickis is an inside kitty. She is 4 years old. She was scooped up as a kitten, from a gas station. Her personality is very likeable. She doesn't have any negative behavior tendencies, given her kitty needs are met. Truly an enjoyable cat to have as a companion. She's a sunshine lounger, likes to watch the bird feeder, interactive play with a chase toy. She appreciates being able to enjoy some outdoors time too, under safe supervision. She'll greet you, when you get home. Likes to make biscuits. Likes treats and treat huting. Sweet snuggler. Would rate Icky lady a 10/10 kitty. I will say, Icky is used to living in a calm atmosphere, without lots of coming and going, human wise. A chaotic, busy atmosphere is not her scene. I am hoping to find a home who has time to spend daily with ickis. Someone how has available resources, for yearly vet check-up appointments. Making sure her kitty needs are met, and her life enriched.

Story
I rescued Salem from a dumpster as a kitten about 9 years ago. She has always been an indoor cat and has been tolerant of children, dogs and other cats. As she has aged she has become less tolerant of dogs, keeping to herself more and more overweight which has compromised her self grooming. You can see in the pictures, she has required haircuts since she does not maintain her longer fur. Salem occasionally has “accidents” outside of the litter box as well. All veterinary records are up to date. We have children and other pets in our home and do not feel we are meeting Salem’s needs.

Story
Druella was born in 2018 as a barn cat, but she came to live with me as soon as she was weaned. She's always been a big proximity cat so she likes to be close to you at all times though she's not always interested in being held or pet for long periods of time! She's an indoor cat with some supervised outside time. She can exist around dogs, my family has had many, but she doesn't get along with them. She does like other cats but warming up takes a very long time, it's a bit of a push and pull with her hissing while following them until she settles! She's not dominant at all, so she's prone to being bullied by other assertive cats as well. She's been having bladder issues that I'm trying to work through currently, just to be transparent. I really love her, quirks and all, but I'm moving overseas at the end of 2026 and I can't afford to take her with me. Please only serious inquires, I'm starting this early to find a solid home that won't dump her somewhere because she's difficult!
