Story
I have been caring for an outside cat that someone left behind since this past April. At that time I did not know the gender. I found she had two kittens in a barn near where I live and were 6 wks old at that time. I know this because the mother went missing for two days, I had a feeling she may have had kittens, and I made note of the two days she was gone. I started feeding all of them over at the barn, and then eventually moved to an outdoor shelter in my yard, and they are presently living inside of my enclosed front porch for the past 2 months. Unfortunately, it is not heated, but have been using a space heater that has been a great help. Jack is a very sweet, playful kitten, and has gone from being pretty shy and scared to very friendly and playful. I am unable to afford to keep them as much as I would love to!! Looking for homes for Jack and his brother Seth. I would love to keep them together, but I understand that might not be possible. They are currently 4 mo old.

Story
We have had Willy since he was a kitten. He is about 15 years old now. We are in our late 70's and my wife is not steady on her feet any longer. Unfortunately Willy has become a tripping hazard due to his habit of staying so close to us. We cannot take the chance of my wife falling again at this stage of our lives. Willy has always been an inside cat and never been out. That is the reason he has not have any shots since he was young. He loves the two of us and will tolerate most other adults as long as they don't force themselves on him. He does not like children. He is very loving to "his" people and is very vocal. He eats about anything. We feed him dry food and just leave a self feeder set up next to a self waterier. Willy lets you know if he has a problem with anything. He really must go to a family without other pets or children. I think after an adjustment period he will prove to be a very loving family member.

Story
Meet Merlin and Galahad, four-year-old “Bros”! These two bring new meaning to brotherly love so we would really love for them to go together! We ended up with these two after their owner was unfortunately no longer able to care for them. Thankfully, they had each other and are thriving under the circumstances. You really get the best of both worlds with these two! Merlin, the long-haired Wizard, has the beauty and Galahad, the short-haired Knight, has the brawn. Not to mention both have the most dazzling eyes and silky coats. While these two are adorably affectionate with each other they are equally affectionate with all of our volunteers! These large boys love attention, getting pets and of course getting into trouble together! With these two having such a tight bond they need to be the only cats in the household. Do you have it in your heart to give these two the forever home they deserve?  Both boys have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and have tested negative for FELV/FIV. To express an interest in adopting this pair, you need to fill out our adoption application, including as much detail as possible, at https://kittycorner.org/adoption/application/. Please be sure that your email address is correct. If your application is accepted, KittyCorner will contact you via email to set up a time for you to come and meet them.  Your donation of $100 per cat will contribute to the cost of veterinary care that the cat(s) received for all the above-mentioned procedures/treatments.  KittyCorner is a New York State Registered Shelter/Rescue, Registration Number: RR0279. *All kittycorner.org kittens/cats come with a lifetime “cat-back” guarantee. If at any time, for any reason they need to be returned/rehomed, please just return them to KittyCorner. We will happily take them back as our mission is to ensure that all of our adoptees will always have a safe place to stay and call home. November 4, 2024, 9:59 pm

Story
Mickers is a stunning long-haired light brown tabby with a heart as soft as her fur. This sweet but shy girl finds comfort in the coziest of boxes, where she feels safe and secure. With a little patience and quiet whispers, Mickers will reward you with her gentle trust and love, especially if you offer her favorite cheek scritches. She adores slow, tender brushing sessions that make her purr with contentment. A peaceful, dog-free home where she can take her time to bloom is all Mickers needs to show her loving, gentle nature. She’s ready to steal your heart at her own perfect pace.
