Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 at Woodbridge High School (1 Samuel Lupo Pl, Woodbridge, NJ 07095) from 11am - 3pm.
Meet Poppy! Poppy is a sweet tempered 6-month-old, 8 pound tabby. He has the distinctive tabby "M on his forehead with stripes on legs, tail and chest but his body is ticked (like he is wearing a little sweater).
Poppy is sweet tempered green-eyed kitty who plays the predator when chasing his cat dancer toys, especially those with bells. He is litter box trained and very fastidious in his grooming.
Poppy loves ear scritches but is just as happy for a back rub. He is most happy when he can keep his human in sight but is independent in his explorations. He is happiest sitting in a sunspot at the window or relaxing in his secret lair (cat tunnel) where he thinks he is invisible to his enemies. Poppy ticks all the cat boxes, sweet tempered and affectionate with just enough independence to remain a mystery!
Poppy is currently fostered in Manhattan, NY. Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social pets. They are very social by nature and need to be with other pets for their socialization. The adoption fee for a single kitten is $150, a pair of kittens is $200.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, combo tested, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
