Story
Leo, Lovebug, Lilly, Lacey, Lilo and Lola were all born around 4/30/2024 and are some of the friendliest, tiniest, biggest of heart kitties we have had in our care. They came from a hoarding house where there were 15 kitties and 4 moms. Unfortunately, we do not know which ones are siblings, but they are all around the same age and size. These butterballs are super playful and super loving. They love to be around humans and while they do love to play, they also love to curl up on your lap, a cat tree, a windowsill or wherever they find comfortable, because well… they are cats, and they usually do what they want anyway. They are all litter box trained and they all have been exposed to other cats and dogs – of course with any new household we recommend slow introductions since everyone will just be meeting for the first time, but we know they can live in harmony with them 😊 These kitties would do great with children who know how to properly handle cats and understand they do like to climb, so make sure to get enough scratching posts and cat trees to keep them entertained and busy! You can’t go wrong with these babies – If you’re looking for a kitten to grow with the family or in your household, these kittens are amazing. They are friendly, sweet, loving, playful, and all-around great kitties who will make wonderful companions for the perfect homes. Adoption Fee Includes: Current feline distemper vaccines, current rabies vaccine (if old enough), current flea prevention, current dewormer, microchip, health certificate from a veterinarian and transport costs from Texas to the east coast.

Story
Shelly came from an environment where she lived with about 40 other cats. She is very reserved, shy kitty who likes to quietly observe her surroundings from a distance. While she is not aggressive towards people, she is fearful. Shelly has lived in the shelter since April 2021 and is part of a bonded pair - her soul-kitty - is Flounder. They are yin and yang, inseparable and have not been apart in years. Flounder and Shelly need a home together. They are quiet, clean houseguests and while they will need time to adjust to their new surroundings, they won't be much trouble to their new family. If you are an experienced cat person, want to provide a home to two very deserving kitties, please complete our adoption questionnaire and a staff member will reach out to schedule a meet and greet. https://hamiltonmcnj.seamlessdocs.com/f/AdoptionApplicationHamilton Township Animal Shelter cannot offer any guarantees on the age, health, temperament, personality or mental disposition of any pet. Story
PEACH has been described as a Princess. She is curious about newcomers and will approach to investigate. She takes a little bit to warm up, but once she does, she is a total love bug & enjoys being carried around. She has lived with a dog before but the jury is out on if she will tolerate another cat encroaching on her princess-ness. Not recommended to a home with small children. PEACH is already spayed, up to date on all shots, and litter box trained. eDOB 6/03/2019 SCHEDULE A VISIT TO MEET THE CATS & KITTENS IN OUR CAT COTTAGE: - Please drop us a note telling us a little about your household, your reasons for looking to adopt, and what you are looking for in a pet. Story
abscess on lower L abdomen - healed nowThe Jazz babies include brothers Miles Davis, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and sister Ella Fitzgerald. The babies were about one week old when they were heard crying from inside a paper bag in a plastic trash bag by someone out for a walk. She rescued them and contacted Trenton Cats Rescue. The babies were immediately transferred to a foster mom where they were bottle fed until they learned to eat on their own, which all now enthusiastically do. They have no memory of their time in the trash and are the most snuggly bunch of babies, all enjoying sleeping on their foster mom's lap or next to it. If necessary, they simply pile on top of each other. Because they like attention, they should be adopted with another young cat or go to a home where someone is at home much of the time. If you'd like to meet Miles Davis or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!July 4, 2024, 5:38 pm
