Zinnia is high energy and loves to play but will also mellow and want to sit on your lap. She is looking for an experienced pet parent who can give her alot of attention and who is comfortable with occasional spiciness (aka “tortitude”). Zinnia has alot of love to give and follows her volunteer friends around until they give her the undivided attention this queen deserves. Nooney is a sweet, affectionate, loving girl. She came to us from the NYC shelter system where she was surrendered by her human, a doctor, because they wanted to travel {sigh}. Nooney has tons of personality! She is social and friendly and far from an old sleepy lady. She is constantly reminding me when it is breakfast and dinner time. We don't know if Nooney ever lived with other animals. She seems to be OK with the cats and dogs in her foster home as long as they don't get in her face too much. I do suspect she likes bossing them around! She is affectionate and immediately started kissing her foster mom when picked up from day 1! She is the best work-from-home buddy! Nooney is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She had a dental cleaning in June and we found out that she has kidney disease. Cats can live for years with kidney disease so it doesn't change our outlook for Nooney but she should be fed a special diet for kidney support.
