Meet Bigsby, also known as Ms. Bigg, a pretty grey and cream tabby who is about eight or nine years old.    Bigsby is a dog in a cat's body, according to her foster's friends. She earned this reputation by coming out of the woodwork and demanding attention from them whenever they visit. Without fail, as soon as a visitor sits in her favorite chair, she assumes this is an invitation to get attention and sprawls on their chest and shoulder and purrs. When her foster worked from home, she was the Official Office Cat and was often the unintentional star of a few Zoom/Teams meetings; her foster has since RTO'd, which makes Bigsby sad. She is very affectionate and wants to be with her people.   Currently, she's living in a house with a few other cats and a couple of big dogs (coonhounds); she doesn't create issues with any of them, though she's not exactly snuggly with them, either. She would likely do just fine as a solo cat or in a household with other pets. Beyond human attention and the standard food, water and a clean litter box, she needs just one thing every day: allergy medication. Sweet Sue is a Torti adult girl who has had a wonderful resurrection from being discovered as a young barn cat to now living inside a wonderful foster home where she has all the comforts that a cat would need.  She is wonderful with other cats but not a playmate to any of the cats.  She just coexists in her more serious state of mind. This rescued stray came to Critter Cavalry Rescue after being taken in as a stray by a compassionate single man living in a condo in Nashville, TN .  Leo Starbuck came in as a very scared and out of sorts cat that had a lot of emotional sorting out to do.  All this boy needed was reassuring love that was consistent and some time to know what a cat loving home was like.  This handsome boy has gorgeous, gray, bengal-like markings.  He is all boy; solid muscle and all he wants to do now is sit in the lap of his foster mom and give kisses and hugs and a lot of love. He needed a place to blossom and boy has he blossomed!  He now jumps up onto his foster Mom’s lap, ready for his head and neck scratches!  Or he rolls over next to her to entice more “good boy” praise and rubs.  Once the toy wand is picked up, game on!  He can chase that wand for a solid hour!  He has recently discovered the 3-tiered plastic ball toy.  He so wants to get those balls out!  He and his 8 month old foster roommate play chase in their cat room, as they exchange friendly “chirps”.  Leo is very patient with this younger kitten.  It is so rewarding to see him thrive!  Although he may be timid at first, this one-and-a-half year old deserves his furrever home and a new loving owner.  Do you have the patience to gain Leo’s trust?  That is all he needs, a little time and patience and the rewards will be unbelievable.  Good boy, Leo! My name is Momma Maribel and I am a beautiful grey and rust colored Tabby girl that had a beautiful litter of 7 kittens in a wonderful foster home 10 weeks ago.  I am a really laidback girl that is easy going and loving.  I just kind of sit back and observe and then snuggle if you have a lap for me.  I was a stray and outside my whole life until I was discovered by a very experienced foster mom who took me in and let me have my precious babies there inside a home.  Outside is where so many moms and their kittens land with no protection.  I am very savvy about life and yet I am eager to find a home of my own.  I am just about a year old and ready for a forever family to welcome me with open arms.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to have an adoption form sent to adopt me.  I would be SOOOOO excited.
