Story
Carly is the newest covergirl to grace our adoption center, and she is eager to retire in style with a new family! One quick look at this gorgeous floof is all you'll need to start falling in love, which helps since she is still really stressed about being in the shelter. Carly was adopted from PAWS way back when she was a kitten in 2012, but unfortunately her owner passed away and family wasn't able to take her in. That lack of direct knowledge of her in the home also means we can't say for sure what some of her favorite treat or activities might be, but her exposure to a dog and young children did show she would prefer to not be around dogs or young children (so an adult-only home as your only pet is the best recipe for her success). She also may not be the most cuddly kitty and is a bit more independent, so she is great for anyone who still enjoys their own personal space when it comes to their feline roommates. Just go slow and give her some time to adjust to her new settings and we're sure you'll start reaping the benefits and rewards of her company and quirky personality in no time!   Age: ~12 years old How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID#: A56306 Meet me at: I am currently in a foster home! Story
Teddy Roosevelt is a handsome, social, and sweet boy. The only thing he loves more than food is getting a good head scratch. An expert baker, he'll start to make biscuits immediately. He had some teeth removed, but that hasn’t slowed him down at all – it even gives his tongue enough room to stick out every so often when he’s sleepy or preoccupied. Teddy loves being around people and can’t wait to see what they’re up to! Need a buddy to curl up with you while you read or watch TV? Would you love having company while you do the dishes or cook dinner? Teddy’s your man! If you want a loving, goofy boy to be by your side, look no further. Story
Gordon may look like a distinguished gentleman, but he is actually a sweet little 4-year-old baby boy. He's probably not the sharpest tool in the shed, because all of his brain power is devoted to being cuddly and friendly! Gordon's favorite activity is following you around and asking for uppies. He loves to be held and will readily hop onto your lap or jump onto your shoulder. Gordon loves meeting new friends as long as they are willing to pet him and give him a treat or two! Gordon has luscious, long, gray hair, which means he needs help with brushing. He will also require a little grooming help after using the litterbox. Gordon was previously living on the streets and he was fed by his community. He was brought to PAWS because he had an abscess behind his ear and was underweight. His abscess is all healed up now and he is gaining weight as well! He hopes to find a caring adopter who will sit with him and make sure he eats enough, so he can gain some weight and fill out his gorgeous mane. Gordon is a flexible, chill guy, and his foster parents think that he could be just fine with kids and other pets in the house. This sweet boy is all cuddles and love.  Age: 4 years How I came to PAWS: Found as injured stray Animal ID#: A179203 &#226&#128&#139I am not at the shelter. Story
Meet Rebekah & Hope Mikaelson: A Bonded Pair of Sweethearts Rebekah – This beautiful, one-eyed purrmachine is the heart of the duo. Don’t let her single eye fool you, she’s full of life and love. Rebekah is an absolute cuddlebug who loves being close to her humans. Every night, she’ll snuggle up and sleep soundly with her foster mom, making her the perfect bedtime companion. Rebekah loves exploring cozy cubbies and finding the best nap spots. When she’s not snoozing, you can find her purring happily as she enjoys her well-deserved attention and love. Hope Mikaelson – Hope is the playful and curious counterpart to her sister. She’s still discovering that humans are friends and has a bit of a learning curve when it comes to trusting them. Right now, she loves receiving pets during mealtime, and it’s the perfect way to earn her trust. Hope is absolutely fond of other cats and follows her sister's lead, often joining Rebekah in the foster mom’s bed at night for some cozy companionship. Hope is on her way to becoming just as loving and trusting as Rebekah, and with patience, she’ll continue to blossom into a cuddle-loving companion. These two are incredibly close and will need to be adopted together. Rebekah’s calm and loving nature is a perfect match for Hope’s playful spirit, and they bring out the best in each other. If you’re looking for a pair of sweet, gentle cats to add to your family, look no further than Rebekah and Hope! They’ll bring warmth, love, and plenty of cuddles into your home.   How I came to Kittensnatchers: found stray **If you are applying for a cat that needs a cat friend and you do not have another cat in the home or plan to adopt 2 cats, you application will not be processed** If you're interested in adopting this furrbaby, please fill out an application at https://forms.gle/2vMCSwUWQKVepqir5 All our animals are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Story
Oh, hello, I didn't see you there! Pleased to make your acquaintance. My name is Sweetpea and I am thrilled that you're here. I may be up there in age, but I can still "get down" (do the kids still say that?) and party! At the same time, I do enjoy a leisurely stroll at my human's side, a good nap here and there, and a nice grooming session (maybe you can brush me?). Don't forget the head scratches, either! So, would you like to make friends with this lil old lady? Our veterinarian has recommended that Sweetpea eat a prescription diet to maintain her kidney function as she ages. Thanks to our generous donors, Sweetpea will come with ~4 months worth of food to get her new family started on the right paw! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pigeon loves to sunbathe and give her bff Avocado a bath too! She is the black and white tuxedo and Avocado is the tabby with a white blaze like a horse! Pigeon and Avocado are buds, but they would be okay going to different homes although we would love for them to stick together! Pigeon is a laid back cat who likes to lounge around and would be a great fit for someone looking for an independent cat. She is sure to give you Instagram cat worthy photos and videos, especially if you adopt her with Avocado! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 10, 2025, 12:08 am
