Story
This is my neutered porch cat of 3 years, named by my husband….. He craves attention and doesn’t care who gives it to him. He is a sweetheart who has already had a litter, which is why we got him fixed. He is very smart and funny. He will greet you with loud meows when he is in need of more food (or attention). He isn’t purebred but is still extremely beautiful! He lives outdoors all year round due to my allergies. He is well fed but I want to see him have an easier life indoors one day. Send an application with any questions you might have!

Story
Charm was living outside and came to Heartland very scared and stressed.  Her mouth was in very bad decay so she was also in pain.  Charm was seen by our vet who did a full mouth extraction, relieving her pain and allowing her to focus on the perks of being an indoor kitty. Charm took a couple of months to warm up to her foster mom, but once trust was gained, her sweet and loving personality came through.  She now loves attention and can eat food just fine. Charm is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV, has been flea and parasite treated and is current on vaccinations.  She did test positive for FIV.  FIV kitties can live a normal, long life as long as they are kept indoors and given medical treatment if early signs of illness are shown.  Their immune system is not as strong so illness needs to be treated early.  FIV kitties can live with non-FIV kitties just fine as long as they are not aggressive, as FIV can be transmitted through a deep bite that draws blood.  FIV kitties do not require any daily meds or special food. Charm can eat normal cat food and is especially drawn to wet food.  She doesn't seem to mind cat friendly dogs.  HHS12989LH    November 4, 2024, 12:24 am

Story
Meet Hollister - this handsome fella was adopted from us as a kitten and recently returned because his mom lost her home.  Hollister has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), or wobbly kitten syndrome.  CH is condition where a kitten’s brain does not fully develop due to a viral infection in the mother cat.  As a result, they experience wobbliness and uncoordinated movement.  There is no cure, but it doesn't not affect their overall health and they can still live long, happy lives without issue.  Hollister is moderately CH; he does fall occasionally and is pretty wobbly, but gets around just fine and uses the litter box without problem.   Hollister is a very sweet boy but is on the sensitive side and can become easily overwhelmed by too much activity around him, likely because of his balance issues.  He would do best in a quieter home without children.  He lives with other cats and does fine with them for the most part, but he can be easily intimidated so a calm, gentle and mellow kitty friend would be best.  Not sure about dogs.  Hollister loves to be petted and is quite affectionate.  He enjoys playing with toys but canned food is his favorite thing in the world.  He is neutered, chipped, current on vaccinations, negative for FeLV/FIV and recently had a dental with 6 teeth pulled.  DOB 4/1/15 - tag 9902. November 4, 2024, 12:24 am

Story
Cleopatra is a DMH Calico girl, about 1 and 1/2 to 2 years old. She is very sweet and playful,  but shy. She is spayed, microchipped, UTD on shots, feline leukemia and FIP negative. Cleo came from a farm but has adjusted to living in a home nicely. She often sits next to her foster mom for lots of petting. She likes to sleep on the bed too. She might hide on occasion to nap but comes out when called. Cleo gets along with other cats that tolerate her. She has not been around dogs though. She would do well in a quiet home with another playful cat and seems to prefer female humans. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $110 for cats and $150 for dogs. To meet this pet, please fill out a dog application or cat application.  Not able to adopt?  Inquire about fostering or sponsoring this pet.  For more information visit www.allpawsrescue.info.  October 23, 2024, 2:52 pm

Story
Hello! My name is Bert! I am the full package! I love to cuddle and get attention. But I also LOVE to play with toys an other kitties. I would do best in a home with other cats. I do fine with dogs. I still get a touch nervous when people run around so small children might frighten me at first, but I adapt very quickly. I initially came from a hoarding case and was very very shy and in poor health. I have since gained weight, gotten healthy, had shots, dewormer AND been neutered. I am microchipped. I cant wait to find my furever home soon! November 4, 2024, 12:24 am
