Charlie (female tortuous shell) and Stanley (male spotted tabby) and both 3 years old and have been together since they were month old kittens. Charlie was found after being thrown from a moving truck outside a local Petco. She captured the hearts of the employees and became their personal mascot. When I found her, it was love at first sight. She is playful, social, and very intelligent. Stanley was found in a rat trap in the rain outside a women's home. He stayed there for 3 days before being rescued. He captured my heart with his playful personality and chill demeanor. Charlie and Stanley have been together from the start. They will be the perfect addition to any home.

Super loving domestic cat. Loves to sit on your lap and cuddle. Quiet cat. Used litter box all the time. Goes outside occasionally. Great with other cats, dogs and people. Have to rehome as granddaughter is allergic. Will let you comb her without a fuss. Update on all shots and vet exams.

Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas at least monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee (CO) $50.00 fee (St. Louis) to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. ##2184904##
