Story
Meet Ella, a resilient stray who was rescued alongside her two adorable kittens. This lovely lady is still adjusting to life indoors and can be quite stand-offish. With her semi-feral nature, she prefers to observe from a distance and isn't yet comfortable with human interaction. While Ella may not be the cuddly lap cat you dream of, she has the potential to thrive as a barn cat or in a rural setting where she can explore and maintain her independence. She is a survivor with a strong spirit, and with patience and understanding, she could form a bond over time.Ella would do best in a quiet environment where she can feel safe and secure. If you're looking for a unique feline friend who embodies the wild spirit of a stray, Ella might be the perfect match for you! Primary Color: Black Tortoiseshell

Story
Callahan came to us through a lady in SE Sedalia. She took in a pregnant female kitty Phoebe, who later gave birth to four kittens. Callahan is one of those kittens. This very kind lady is keeping the mother cat and we are seeking homes for the four kittens. Callahan was born May 28, 2024. Callahan, like so many yellow tabby’s, is a male with a beautiful coat. He has medium length hair. He is a beautiful kitty with a charming personality. Callahan is currently living with our President in Southeast Sedalia with two older cats. He’s often visited by a small gentle dog. They all get along well and test each other’s patience with their interest in teasing and playing. They are a bundle of energy and love their life. He sleeps soundly thru the night so he can play hard through the day. The older cats have taught him to be an enjoyable rascal and very, very affectionate. Callahan loves people and being cuddled. He will tuck his head under your chin and nap there. He purrs constantly. He loves both wet and dry food, and of course kitty treats! Judging from his mom he will likely grow up to be medium sized kitty. He has a full, rich and purrfect coat which is incredibly soft and lush. This kitty would be wonderful Pal for you and your family. In spite of his outdoor beginning he needs to be an indoor kitty only. He does not know the perils of the wild. He has been indoors since birth. Callahan is in excellent health. He has been fully vet’d which includes, spaying, all kitten shots, worming, fleaing and the implanting of a micro identity chip. He is fully litter box trained. Callahan is ready to join your family. I would very much enjoy discussing him with you. If you would like to visit Callahan I can arrange that with you at a time that fits your schedule. Callahan would be a wonderful addition to your family. He will easily get along with your other furry Pals after his upbringing in his present foster environment. Should you wish to proceed with adoption you can download a copy of our Adoption Application at our Blog Page. This adoption fee goes to cover a portion of their veterinary expense. Thanks for looking! I hope to hear from you.
