We were among six young kittens who went to the rescue because the children in our home were too young to understand how to handle us gently and safely. I came here in mid-October with some other cats from another rescue, and I tried to show how brave I am by hissing. Shhh- don’t tell anyone, but I was so nervous. I’m doing much better now. I enjoy being petted, and I rub against people’s legs for more attention. My wound has healed, and so has my spirit. I’d love to spend days playing and soaking up pets and my nights stacking up Z’s, lying near you when I’m home with you as your handsome, lovable Zorro boy. I was found with a 2-year-old female named Tizzy in a small town called Lime Springs, Iowa. The person who found us would have kept us, but he has six cats already, and his mom thinks that is too many! I am affectionate and enjoy curling up on a lap, but when I’ve had enough, I’ll get up and leave. I was not too interested in toys. I was eating Fancy Feast and Meow Mix while I stayed there. Don’t let my name, Darth, scare you! The movie Darth Vader was a bad dude, of course. He was the villain in the Star Wars movies, the Dark Lord of Sith. Except for the color of my medium-length fur, I am the opposite. I came to Paws and Claws, along with several other cats, from another rescue. I am as friendly as they come.
