My name is Peppa Pig and no I am not a pig. Although I was pretty round when I came into my foster home. Inside of 24 hours, I popped out 6 babies and then after a few weeks, if that wasn't enough headaches...i mean little darlings to look after, I inherited a couple more to feed and look after. Honestly, I think I was doing enough before the last 2 came along but they are all weaned now and can find therir own homes. That means I get to relax now too and find my forever home too. Let me tell you about me. I was technically a stray as I was living outside, but I was friendly so perhaps I wasn't always an outside cat. I have adapted to having air conditioning and meals on time and in bowls very well and would not like to go back to living rough in the wilds of San Antonio. I am friendly and like to rub up against you when I am hungry, thirsty, want to be petted or just for the heck of it. I like having people around and I purr, purr, purr. I am about a year and a half old, and am ready for my forever home. My adoption fee is only $100 and I am fixed, microchipped and current on all of my needed vaccinations.

They say that angels walk among us and I know this first-hand because one day, I was suddenly swooped up off the street by some people who did not have my best interest at heart! I was very scared and tried my best to get away, but they held onto my scruff real tight. I was starting to panic when an angel appeared and inquired as to what was going on with this tiny kitten in distress! The mean people were trying to sell me! They didn't own me, and in fact, I don't think anyone owned me because I was fending for myself on the streets! Fortunately for me, the angel paid my ransom and off I went to another angel in what they called a "foster home". I call it heaven! I have other kittens to play with and even though I did have to get something called "vetting", I also got toys, great food, and even sleep in the bed with my foster Mom! I learned how to be an inside kitten and well, let me tell ya - it beats the streets by a mile! I'd love to be YOUR baby now and want you to know all about me! Hi, my name is Labyrinth. I am from Minnesota. From her foster: This is a nice kitty! Sometimes I call her Mama Baby, since she had kittens when she was very young. She's tiny with short legs, a little bit ragdoll, with the longer fur and a face of a Norwegian Forest cat. She will come up to you and you can hug her in your arms and pet her for a little bit of time. She is sweet and even loving. At first she will hide for many days but in a few weeks she bonds and likes to sit by you. She is quirky, often skittish, and often very playful. She likes to wrestle and play with your hands. Sometimes a diva or pouting kitty is seen. She makes soft meows and trills and has a lovely voice. She will do best in a quieter home without dogs. I was told she's okay with cats. She likes to be a one-person one-cat cat. I think children would love her but they need to know she is the boss. Tiny children, toddlers may not work out at all.

Llama uses her scratching post like a champ too! She is a very curious kitty and would make a great sidekick! Llama is good with dogs, but should probably be the only cat in the house. Llama will do best in a home where she does not have access to carpeted rooms. From the Vet: Hi! I am Llama and my friends at TBB wanted to share a bit more about my medical history, particularly about my heart murmur. While grade 4/6 murmur sounds bad, I was checked out by a cardiology specialist and diagnosed with a physiologic murmur. This means that my heart just operates a bit differently, but bloodwork and the echo shows that my heart is working great, compensating well and showing no signs of disease. Llamas future adopters will not need to do any cardiology care in the future other than rechecking bloodwork annually.

My name is Esme and I am from Minnesota. From her foster: While Esme may be approaching 2 years old she has the playful personality of a kitten. Esme had kittens of her own when she was about a year old and I believe she is making up for her lost kittenhood. Esme did an amazing job raising her kittens while battling several illnesses. Esme is currently being treated for ringworm but we expect to have a final clear culture by mid-November. She will also need to be spayed prior to going to her forever home. Esme loves to play and chase toys. She is also very talkative with a usual meow that sounds more like a squeak. Esme has lived around other cats; please plan for an extended introduction time to assure success. Esme has not lived in a home with young children or been exposed to dogs. I believe she would do ok with slow introductions. From the Vet: I am came to rescue with my litter of kittens and we all have been undergoing a few medical diagnosis, Panleukopenia and Ringworm. We have already been getting treatment for several weeks and hopefully the latest recheck fungal culture will come back negative. If so, we will be rechecked one more time and if 2 negative rechecks come in, we can be cleared for alter surgeries and adoption! All my kittens recovered well from Panleuk and as long as I don't have any more litters I will not pass this to other cats. No further care would be needed for this diagnosis.
