Lulu, is a loyal adorable loving Cat. She loves to be the center of attention and needs to be the only animal in the house Me and my husband have 4 other cats and Lulu gets stressed with them I feel she would be happier alone

She was found as a stray. We thought we could keep her but she does not get along with our other cat. She is a loveable cat. She will either sit on your lap or next to you on the couch.

I am told that I am a mellow soul.  That's true, as I love hanging out with the family and just watching from above but, depending on my mood, I also won't say no to pets when offered.  I would love to be adopted with one of my family members who are also available.  Otherwise, I've had experience living with all of my Mom and sisters but I have not been exposed to dogs.  My Foster Mom thinks, though, that I may be okay with a low-energy doggie companion, especially one who is cat friendly.  The same is true of children.  Older kids or those who are experienced with treating a beautiful girl such as myself with respect may be okay. URGENT!!!  Purrs Abound is assisting Idra's owner in finding a peaceful and loving environment to welcome Idra and her lifelong pal, Brubeck.  Please also take a look at Brubeck's bio and pictures!!  They are a pair of bonded cats who are in need of housing.  Idra and Brubeck are being displaced in October as their family must relocate out of state for cancer treatments. These two feline companions have spent their entire adult lives together and are in search of a new home where they can continue to thrive. Idra and Brubeck enjoy receiving scratches, treats, and food - which has led them to be a bit on the chunky side. While we are uncertain of how they will interact with children under the age of 13, dogs, or other cats, we do know that Idra is a spayed female who is approximately 11 years old, and Brubeck is a neutered male who is around 10 years old. Despite the fact that neither cat has visited a veterinarian in approximately 5 years, the owner is unaware of any health issues at this time.  To be sure of that, the wonderful staff of Advanced PetCare of Oakland is going to sponsor Brubeck's and Idra's initial vet care by providing each cat with a thorough exam, including lab work and updating their vaccines.  Although they have been a bonded pair, their owner has noticed some tension between Idra and Brubeck recently. It is unclear whether this tension is due to the stress of the impending move, environmental factors, or a change in their relationship dynamics. If the tension persists once they are settled into a stable environment, we may need to explore the possibility of separating them temporarily or finding separate foster homes for each cat. If you are able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for Idra and Brubeck during this challenging time, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
