If you look closely, Abracadabra's eyes are a bit crossed which just makes her even more precious! If you are interested in adopting Abracadabra, fill out an application today! The Animal Rescue Project is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All cats and kittens are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medical to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and mites they may have. All cats and kittens are feline leukemia tested, and cats at least a year old are also tested for feline immuno virus. Each cat or kitten receives the FVRCP vaccine; if a kittens stay with us is long enough, two or three boosters will be given after the initial vaccination. Story
Mario Mario is a male Tabby DSH DOB: April, 2023 Adoption fee: $75.00 I am a goofy and playful cat, slowing calming down as I grow up. I can be a little shy at first with new people, when I get to know you then you will really see the interesting personality I have! I can be affectionate at times, and I can be vocal when I am seeking out attention. I do often seek out attention. I enjoy receiving pets and scratches! I can be quite independent as I grow older, I like to sit back and observe everything around me (especially nature and birds!) I enjoy taking long naps and relaxing! I do enjoy cuddling up with the other cats in the room and playing with them. I really enjoy toys! I am a sweet and nice boy with a big goofy personality! I should do well with other cats, if they are looking for a playmate. I would do okay as a playmate and cuddle friend for another cat. With a slow and proper introduction, I should do well with a cat friendly dog. I would do better with older children. If you are interested in being my adopter, please visit my shelter's website and complete the adoption application that is available there! HSSCM.org you can find the applications under the "adoptions" tab.

Twig Twig is a Male Black and White DMH DOB: June 28th, 2024 Adoption fee: $100.00 I am your typical kitten; I like to get into things and have fun! But after all the fun a good long nap is something that I enjoy! I may be a bit shy at first but once I am comfortable, I will show you my big personality. I like playing with toys and running around with my siblings. I can be very curious about new things. I am cuddly and sweet; I do seek attention and really enjoy pets and getting some loving. I am quite goofy and silly; I will be sure to make you laugh. I like to play with my brother, and I do enjoy playing with toys! I like to run around and have some fun! I can be super sweet and gentle, but I am still a kitten who is learning. I’m an easy-going boy, happy go lucky. I would do good in a home with another cat that is looking for a friend and playmate. I would do okay in a home with a cat friendly dog with a proper and slow introduction. I should do okay in a home with older children who are respectful of my boundaries. I don’t mind being held; I will let you know when I am ready for my space.
