Story
Rachelle is a very loving, affectionate 1.5 year old girl. This girl is fortunate enough to be and FIP survivor. Rachelle loves to play with toys of all types, especially the laser light. She loves humans but also loves to play with her kitty friends at her foster home. She loves to lay on cat trees or anywhere she can look at the window at birds and squirrels. Since she is more laid back a slower paced home with older children or an adult only would be best. Rachelle is a medium haired fluffy girl and will require some grooming. If you're looking for a fluffy, loving girl Rachelle could be your kitty.

Story
Jinx is an outgoing super friendly guy. He loves attention from his humans and playing with his siblings(Jet, Blackberry, and Domino) at his foster home. The laser light and ball tower are his favorite along with fast-moving wand toys. Jinx gets along with all the other kitties in his foster home and would do well in almost any family setting. He would love to be adopted with one of his siblings or another kitten friend but it is not mandatory. It would be best that he has another kitty companion in his adoptive home.

Story
Sunny and Sully are 2 are some of the cutest babies we’ve ever seen. Born mid-September (approximately), these sweet babies are looking for their forever homes. They LOVE human contact and getting lots of love. These sweet babies are loving their full access to food (they’re eating dry), and they are already litter box trained. They have not met doggies yet as we do not want to put too much stress on them, but we believe with time and patience, they would be able to live happily in a home with cat friendly dogs. Other kitties are no issue! Sunny and Sully LOVE to play, snuggle and just be kitties. These babies love their cat trees in their cat room and are just learning what toys are. They have a ball climbing to top of the cat towers and pretending to be the king and queen of the room. They are good size kitties and we believe they will be bigger boys – so young children are not a problem as we know even at this age, they can get away from them with no problems! If you’re looking for a sweet, fun, entertaining kitty to add to your home, please consider adopting 1, or both, of these awesome kitties. Adoption Fee includes: Feline distemper vaccine, feline leukemia vaccine, dewormer, microchip, current flea prevention, FIV/ FLV Test and health certificate that they will get from a veterinarian prior to transport. Please fill out an application at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org You can contact us at info@pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Please read the entire description before inquiring!  Beau is a special boy with special needs who needs a special person.  Before Beau came to us, he had trauma to his spinal cord.  He is mobile (actually, he's quite fast!) and pulls himself around with his front legs.  He's about 3 years old, loves attention and likes keeping busy.  He cannot empty his bladder on his own and needs to have it manually expressed several times a day.  So a person who has had experience with this, or a medical background would be ideal, but not mandatory.   He is a beautiful cat with a beautiful spirit.  Please call us with questions or inquiries 410 880 2488 #3 or always4tucker@yahoo.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 1:25 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Evie and I love to be with people. I am still a kitten at around 10 months old. I'm waiting here for someone to come get me and take me home. I hope you have a warm lap and a soft chair for my cat naps. I'm quite happy when you pet me. I like to sit with you and watch what you are doing. I also have times that I'm content relaxing on my own. I've been told I'm very loving and affectionate. All I know is I love when people sit with me and pet me. I just feel like I'm melting into a puddle and everyone says Awwwww when I roll over. If you have a quiet home and you are looking for a kitty companion, will you come by to meet me out of my cage? I'm so happy when it is my turn for the cat volunteers to sit with me. I would prefer an adult home or a home with older children who will be gentle with me. Loud noises startle me sometimes. You can visit me during the Animal Viewing Hours. Applications are accepted in person at the facility after you visit me out of my cage. You can call first to see if I'm still available:410-313-2780 Option 0.Location:Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center8576 Davis Rd Columbia, MD 21045Animal Viewing Hours: ***Please call in December before visiting, to verify hours due to changes of hours for Holiday events.Mon, Wed, Fri 10:00-4:30 (Closed at 2:30 the last Friday of each month)Tues & Thurs 1:30-6:45Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 20, 2024, 3:13 pm

Fudge's guardian states the following regarding children:  Fudge has lived with children, ages 1, 7, 12, 13, & 15, so his guardian recommends his living with children, stating "Fudge is very lovable and playful.  My childrens' friends spend a lot of time in our home and he wants to play and be rubbed." Fudge's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Fudge hasn't lived with or otherwise been around dogs, so his guardian doesn't recommend his living with dogs. Fudge's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Fudge has lived with cats, so his guardian recommends his living with cats, stating "He will challenge outside cats.  We have an older cat (that we are also looking to rehome).  They wrestle alot but get along really well." Fudge's guardian offers a brief medical history:  "He has a mild case of cerebellum hyperplasia (just means he's a bit wobbly).  No medication or special treatment is needed." Fudge's guardian describes him as: Very active Playful Friendly Likes to be touched Affectionate House-Trained Likes men Likes women Fudge's guardian describes his ideal future home:  "Fudge likes to go outside sometimes.  He would do well with an enclosure outdoor area available." Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Beautiful Ceres is a young tabby, weighs 7lbs, is spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, is microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, as veterinary records will substantiate.  Ceres's foster adds: "Ceres is a beautiful young tabby with white markings.  She was rescued from the streets with her 3 kittens a month ago.  The kittens have all found homes and now it’s Ceres’ time to find her forever home.   Foster is home all day and spends time with cat on and off through the day.  She has been in foster's bedroom to help her transition to house cat.  Ceres is shy.  A noise can cause her to go to her favorite spot under the bed.  Ceres will head bump you, ask for pets, cuddle up and is an expert biscuit maker and is a purr machine.  She’s just discovered the joys of playing and likes a good romp with a toy on a wand." Ceres's guardian explains why she is rehoming her:  "I rescue abandoned cats and find homes after spayed, vaccinated, combo tested, treated for fleas, and dewormed." Ceres's guardian states the following regarding children:  Ceres hasn't lived with or otherwise been around children, so her foster doesn't recommend her living with children because she's been with only 1 adult. Ceres's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Ceres hasn't lived with otherwise been around dogs, so her foster doesn't recommend her living with dogs, stating "She has not been around other dogs.  Because she is shy and needs time to get to know her fur mom/dad, a household without dogs would be better". Ceres's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Although Ceres currently lives with the resident cat in her foster home, her foster doesn't recommend her living with cats, stating "Ceres is better off as a single cat.  Possibly later after she's been with her adopter for time sufficient that she feels 'at home' it may be possible for her to be around another cat". Ceres's guardian describes her as: Quiet Shy Likes to be touched Fearful Ceres's guardian describes her ideal future home:  "Her best adopter will be patient as it will likely take Ceres a few weeks to settle in to a new environment….relocation is hard on cats and just takes time to happen. But patience will pay off and you’ll have yourself a wonderful loving companion." Rehoming Fee:  $50  Location:  Baltimore, MD  ***** ADOPTION PROCESS  1.
