Story
Sasha is a 14-year-old dilute tortie with a big personality. She arrived at the shelter on September 26, 2024, after her owner’s medical issues made it difficult to continue caring for her. Sasha is talkative, sassy, and loves her food—though she’s not one for sharing. She is currently being evaluated for a thyroid condition and is available for foster to adopt while we continue to support her medical needs. This feisty girl would thrive in a home that appreciates her bold spirit and unique charm.

Story
Often we get cats in to the shelter who are better suited to an outdoor lifestyle. These cats may not be very social, may not use litterboxes, or may simply prefer to wander the great outdoors. The good part is that they can provide some amazing services for a very small amount of work.Barn cats and kittens are available for all your pest control needs. In return, they just ask for some shelter (a barn, outbuilding, garage, etc.), food, and clean water. Barn cats and kittens adopted through Talbot Humane have been spayed or neutered, have received all appropriate vaccines, and are ready for their furever homes. There are never any fees for adopting barn cats and we do recommend them going home in at least pairs.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please read the bio of the rescue you are interested in to insure you are a match if you are a match the first step is to complete the online adoption application  Abbott was adopted several months ago  by a good family who had adopted from us before. Unfortunately,  the cat they already had was very aggressive and abusive towards him. With his quiet demeanor,  he continued to regress and he became traumatized. We both decided it was best that he came back to the rescue. After plenty of time to decompress,  Abbott is doing well. He still needs a home without kids under 12, no dominant cats, but he's fine with cat friendly dogs. He's a cool little dude.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. If you are interested in adopting please read the information here and then complete our online adoption application. One of our volunteers will contact you once the application has been processed.  If this animal is listed as a courtesy posting for another rescue please go to their website to complete the online adoption application.     November 4, 2024, 3:25 pm

Luckily she was caught and taken to the vet immediately. She's doing very well with her kitten condo roommate. She would need a kitty companion and could be considered with older children and cat friendly dogs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please read the bio of the rescue you are interested in to insure you are a match if you are a match the first step is to complete the online adoption application  Artie was in very rough shape when he came to us about a month ago. He was under weight,  had terrible ear mites and a upper respiratory infection. Luckily one of our very special rescue friends grabbed him and brought him to us. With love and medications and lots of cat and dog friends,  he's doing great. He's a typical fun loving orange kitten.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
