Story
Roses are red, violets are blue, I long for my forever home and my name is Moo Moo. As you can see from cow-themed fur coat and unique lady beard, I’m not your typical cat. In my cutest kitty voice, I’ll chat you up every day and tap, tap, tap on your arm with my soft paw when I’m in the MOO’d for love and attention. Yup, you guessed it, I’m a sweetie pie, but I need some time to acclimate before I’m 100% comfy in new surroundings. Once I’m settled in, we’ll be the best of friends furrrrr-ever.My ideal situation is a laid back environment without kids or other pets. We all have quirks and preferences, right? For instance, I’m not a fan of being picked up, I’m just fine staying closer to the ground! Also, loud noises and sudden movements startle me, that’s why I’m searching for solitude and a sense of security with you. If you’re MOO-ved to meet me, I’m ready! If you`d like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website – https://animalalliesrescue.org/adopt/ – and choose me, Moo Moo!My adoption fee is $100 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we`ve already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We`ve been checked by a veterinarian, and we`re up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Story
Name: Hansey Age: 12 years Type: Tuxedo Cat Hansey is a lovey-dovey lap cat, who enjoys curling up on your chest. He would be very grateful to spend his days lying on a soft warm blanket & pillow, calmly watching the birds go by. He wasn’t treated well from a previous home and so he can be hesitant to approach you at first or to initially receive your love. But when he is comfortable, he will approach you and curl up, staying close. He’s going to need a home that wants to take care of him, as he has a Primary GI, which requires him to mainly eat wet food and causes him to occasionally throw up. He has most recently been living with a young male cat, and they became and remained friends, sometimes play-fighting; prior to that, he lived with an older female cat whom he loved and ‘cared for’ until she passed away.

Story
Please read the entire description before inquiring!  Beau is a special boy with special needs who needs a special person.  Before Beau came to us, he had trauma to his spinal cord.  He is mobile (actually, he's quite fast!) and pulls himself around with his front legs.  He's about 3 years old, loves attention and likes keeping busy.  He cannot empty his bladder on his own and needs to have it manually expressed several times a day.  So a person who has had experience with this, or a medical background would be ideal, but not mandatory.   He is a beautiful cat with a beautiful spirit.  Please call us with questions or inquiries 410 880 2488 #3 or always4tucker@yahoo.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 1:25 pm

Fudge's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Fudge hasn't lived with or otherwise been around dogs, so his guardian doesn't recommend his living with dogs. Fudge's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Fudge has lived with cats, so his guardian recommends his living with cats, stating "He will challenge outside cats.  We have an older cat (that we are also looking to rehome).  They wrestle alot but get along really well." Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Beautiful Ceres is a young tabby, weighs 7lbs, is spayed, is up to date on her vaccines, is microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, as veterinary records will substantiate.  Ceres's foster adds: "Ceres is a beautiful young tabby with white markings.  She was rescued from the streets with her 3 kittens a month ago.  The kittens have all found homes and now it’s Ceres’ time to find her forever home.   Foster is home all day and spends time with cat on and off through the day.  She has been in foster's bedroom to help her transition to house cat.  Ceres is shy.  A noise can cause her to go to her favorite spot under the bed.  Ceres will head bump you, ask for pets, cuddle up and is an expert biscuit maker and is a purr machine.  She’s just discovered the joys of playing and likes a good romp with a toy on a wand." Ceres's guardian explains why she is rehoming her:  "I rescue abandoned cats and find homes after spayed, vaccinated, combo tested, treated for fleas, and dewormed." Ceres's guardian states the following regarding children:  Ceres hasn't lived with or otherwise been around children, so her foster doesn't recommend her living with children because she's been with only 1 adult. Ceres's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Ceres hasn't lived with otherwise been around dogs, so her foster doesn't recommend her living with dogs, stating "She has not been around other dogs.  Because she is shy and needs time to get to know her fur mom/dad, a household without dogs would be better". Ceres's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Although Ceres currently lives with the resident cat in her foster home, her foster doesn't recommend her living with cats, stating "Ceres is better off as a single cat.  Possibly later after she's been with her adopter for time sufficient that she feels 'at home' it may be possible for her to be around another cat". Ceres's guardian describes her as: Quiet Shy Likes to be touched Fearful Ceres's guardian describes her ideal future home:  "Her best adopter will be patient as it will likely take Ceres a few weeks to settle in to a new environment….relocation is hard on cats and just takes time to happen. But patience will pay off and you’ll have yourself a wonderful loving companion." Rehoming Fee:  $50  Location:  Baltimore, MD  ***** ADOPTION PROCESS  1. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.  ***** Olive and Ginger are littermates, therefore bonded, each are 5yo, weigh approximately 8lbs, are spayed, are microchipped, but are not up to date on their vaccines, but their guardian has scheduled an appointment to do so.  Their guardian adds:  "They are both active, playful, and affectionate.  Olive is a real sweetheart and Ginger can be feisty at times.  They get a little spooked when riding in the car, but typically have only ridden in the crate." Olive's and Ginger's guardian explains why he has made the difficult decision to rehome them:  He's developed health issues, coupled with taking care of his grandmother, so he feels they should have 'a better home'. Olive's and Ginger's guardian offers a brief a medical history:  "When they were first adopted, they were being treated for ringworm.  About 2 years ago, Ginger had a vet visit because she was dehydrated." Olive's and Ginger's states the following regarding children:  Olive and Ginger don't live with children, but their guardian recommends them living with children, stating "I have had children over at the house and they don't mind them". Olive's and Ginger's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Olive and Ginger have lived only with each other, so their guardian doesn't recommend their living with other cats, stating "They are a bonded pair/sisters and do well with each other; however, the first time they were around another cat (about 4 years ago) they were afraid of it".
