Barney is a nearly six-year-old gentleman with a soft, creamy orange coat and a luxurious feather-duster tail that swishes with quiet elegance. He carries himself with a calm, easygoing presence, happiest when he is curled up by the front window or perched somewhere high, watching the world drift by. Affectionate and devoted, Barney thrives on gentle attention. He leans into every brushstroke and happily soaks up pets, especially if it leads to his favorite spot -your lap, provided there’s a cozy blanket involved. He is the kind of cat who makes a house feel welcoming, greeting everyone at the door and faithfully coming to check in when his people return home. With his serene nature and loving heart, Barney is a quiet companion who brings warmth and comfort simply by being nearby. When he was in rescue in 2022 he was cat and dog friendly. He has not lived with another animal for 4 years, but should be fine with proper introduction.

She starts her mornings with a dramatic food frenzy, complete with squirmy moves and cries of anticipation! You may be allowed a few sneaky pets during this time, but only because she is too focused on the wet food to protest. Once the bowl is empty, though? Do not even think about touching her. She will shoot you a death glare that says, "You may gaze upon me, but you shall not touch." Dream Weaver is a social butterfly… on her terms. She gets along famously with the other cats in her foster home and is completely unbothered by the large dog—whom she has claimed, along with his bed, as her own. Most afternoons you will find her snoozing in the dog’s spot like the queen she is. Boundaries? She does not recognize them. Her bestie is a big, wise old black cat who she follows around like a groupie. He’s cool. She’s cool. It’s a whole vibe. So if you are looking for a sassy, silky, fiercely independent cat who brings drama, beauty, and the occasional cuddle (accidental only), Dream Weaver is your girl. Just don’t touch her without a signed permission slip.

Valerie is a shy girl, who may take some time to win your heart, but once she does, you will have a beautiful bond with a very deserving cat. She enjoys playing with spring toys. She has started to explore the foster home a little more than she originally did, and is becoming more curious. She is fostering with her sister, Eclaire. It would be wonderful if they could find a loving home together.
