Story
Demi came to me a few years back when someone moved into my home and brought them up from Massachusetts. We did not have her medical history, prior owners did not have it either. She is a sweet and very loving lady and would love nothing more then get scratches and snuggle in a lap and purr the day away. She does come with a special needs as she a physical disability that hinders her abilities in some regards. She cannot use her back feet properly, she largely drags them behind her most of the time horizontally but she can prop them under her for steps on occasion but not for any length of time. The vets examined her and she has no pain or injuries. They also said surgery was not recommended as they didn't think it would help in the long run and would a lot of pain and discomfort for minimal likely gain. Her biggest issue is litter box, she understands litter boxes and tries to use the one we have but due to her physical limitation it is hard for her to position herself to use it.

Story
Mama Della is a very lucky female orange tabby cat, who was picked up by a Critter Cavalry Rescue cat Foster mom and brought home with her litter of six beautiful babies. Kind of a one in a million situation for this girl to be able to raise her babies in the safety and nurturing care of a seasoned foster home. Her babies are healthy, she is spayed and ready to find her own loving family or person to adopt her. She is friendly and playful and snugly. No shyness about her at all. If you know anything about orange tabby cats, you will know that it is rare to have a female orange tabby cat. Again she's kind of one of those rare and special girls that got a life break when she was brought out of harm's way with her whole litter and nurtured during her time of nursing and raising her babies. If you would love to have this very young adult female orange tabby girl called Mama Della, Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 17, 2025, 5:44 am

Story
Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Dash! &#226&#156&#168 Dash is a handsome orange-and-white gentleman with a heart of pure gold. He’s the ultimate shadow cat—following you from room to room (yes, even the bathroom!) and starting up his purr engine the moment he sees you. This boy doesn’t just love people… he adores them. Dash is happiest when he’s snuggled up close, making him a dream for anyone wanting a true cuddle companion. He’d thrive as the star of the show in a one-cat home, or as a playful addition to a house full of feline friends. While he hasn’t met dogs yet, his sweet and gentle nature suggests he could adjust with the right introductions. Around young children, Dash has been shy but curious—showing he will warm up over time in a family setting. Dash is more than just a cat—he’s a loyal best friend waiting to love and be loved. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143  Critter Cavalry Rescue would ask that you email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and ask questions or for an application.   All our cats and kittens are in FOSTER HOMES with families who are socializing them and helping them on their journey to a forever good life. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 24, 2025, 7:19 pm

Story
&#226&#156&#168 Meet Crash! &#226&#156&#168 Crash is a striking bob-tailed orange-and-white boy with a heart as big as his purr motor. He’s equal parts snuggle-bug and playful goofball—always ready for cuddles, but just as happy chasing toys or wrestling with his brothers and sisters. This affectionate guy would thrive in a home with kids who want a fun, furry sidekick. He’d love another cat to pal around with, but he’s also perfectly content soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only. Crash hasn’t met a dog yet, but with a little patience he’s the kind of easy-going kitty who can adapt. He’s a special boy with a whole lot of charm, and he’s ready to be the purr-fect companion for a lucky family!    If you are interested in this happy boy kitten please email:  ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Critter Cavalry has loving homes to FOSTER these kittens with families .
