Story
Sabrina is a beautiful dark gray long-haired beauty that was returned to HART when her owner could no longer care for her. Sabrina is a very happy, playful, friendly, and very smart kitty. She loves playing with the peacock feather and toys that are stringy and have a toy on the end. She loves to sit in the window and watch birds.Sabrina makes friends with male kitties very quickly and would benefit either by going home with a male kitty or have a male kitty at new adopter's home. She came in with Tony, who is also in her room at the shelter, but it is not required that they have to go together. Being the princess that she is she likes to be brushed which helps keep her fine hair in order. She is not a "lap" cat,but does like to be near her owner when working or watching tv.If Sabrina sounds like the kitty, you are looking for, please fill out the online application to get approved. Someone from HART will reach out to you to set up a time to come in an meet her. You will also be asked to meet with the Shy Angels coordinator to discuss Sabrina and how to make the introduction into your home.Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!***FKA = Formerly Known As

Story
Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.July 24, 2025, 8:15 pm

Story
Mama Della is a very lucky female orange tabby cat, who was picked up by a Critter Cavalry Rescue cat Foster mom and brought home with her litter of six beautiful babies. Kind of a one in a million situation for this girl to be able to raise her babies in the safety and nurturing care of a seasoned foster home. Her babies are healthy, she is spayed and ready to find her own loving family or person to adopt her. She is friendly and playful and snugly. No shyness about her at all. If you know anything about orange tabby cats, you will know that it is rare to have a female orange tabby cat. Again she's kind of one of those rare and special girls that got a life break when she was brought out of harm's way with her whole litter and nurtured during her time of nursing and raising her babies. If you would love to have this very young adult female orange tabby girl called Mama Della, Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.
