My name is Little Man.  I'm a lover and want to be in your space every chance I get.  I do well with children, but I'm scared of dogs and don't do well with other cats. so, I need to be an only pet.  I'm approximately 2 1/2-3 years old and am very food motivated!  Let's be forever friends.  October 26, 2024, 11:31 am

Story
My name is Selena!  I am a Calico Domestic Medium Hair born 05/6/2021.  I am good with kiddos and select cats alike, though I am unsure about our canine friends.  I like to hang out with my people during the day and night if you let me!  Sometimes I get a little nervous if I can't find you or hang out in the same room. I like to play and chase the other cats in my hoome. Scratching posts are one of my favorite things!  After playing, it's nap time and if you're lucky, I might even curl up with you on the couch!  I am about to head to our foster home and will be sure to share more soon! The suggested adoption donation for Selena is $65. We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Your donation goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, as well as providing supportive services to animals in homes.  Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.  Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.  To learn about Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page.  ##1114832##

Story
Rev your engines and get ready to meet the cutest litter of kittens on this side of the scrapyard! Introducing the Auto Parts Litter, born around April 23, 2024. This little purr-fect pit crew member is Clutch! These little purr-machines got their start in a most unconventional nursery—an abandoned truck. These tiny furballs were discovered when their mobile home was towed away for recycling. Despite their bumpy start and needing some serious TLC upon arrival at the rescue, these kittens are now the picture of health and happiness. These resilient rascals have bounced back from their rugged beginnings and are now in top gear, and will soon be ready to drive straight into your heart! We’re still learning about their individual quirks and personalities, so stay tuned for more updates. One thing’s for sure: these little dynamos have left their scrapyard days behind and are now polished up and ready to find their fur-ever homes. If you’re looking to add some vroom to your life, the Auto Parts Litter is here to deliver joy, love, and endless entertainment! Please Note:  The Auto Parts Litter is not quite ready to go to their forever homes.  They will be ready to head home on 6/18/2024.  We encourage you to apply to adopt one now so we can process your application while we wait. The suggested adoption donation for each kitten in the Auto Parts Litter is $75, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. If the dog or cat you adopt is older than 6 months of age and not spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to alter the pet at Val Verde Animal Hospital in Omaha, at no cost to you.  Or you can alter the pet at your own vet and be reimbursed $100 for dogs, and $50 for cats, of total cost.  If the dog or cat is younger than 6 months of age, the adopter will be responsible for the cost of altering the pet at the vet of their choice.  If proof of alter is received by Muddy Paws prior to the pet turning 6 months of age, a reimbursement of $100 for dogs and $50 for cats, will be sent to you to help cover expenses.  All puppies and kittens MUST be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age.  All dogs and cats MUST be spayed or neutered no later than one month after adoption is finalized.  Thank you in advance for your compliance. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. Story
Molly is a beautiful adult female cat (b. appx 2019) who's eagerly looking for her forever home. This sweet girl is already spayed and housebroken/litter trained, so she's ready to bring joy and companionship into your life from day one. Despite her shy nature around new people, Molly is incredibly friendly and affectionate once she gets to know you. She's proven herself to be a true gem with both children and adults, making her the perfect addition to families of all ages. Plus, she's a pro at getting along with other pets, so if you have furry friends already, Molly will fit right in! Unfortunately, Molly's previous family had to make the difficult decision to rehome her due to allergies in the household. But this hasn't dampened her spirits or her love for people. She's ready to shower her new family with cuddles, purrs, and all the love she has to offer. If you're searching for a gentle, calm companion who will bring warmth and happiness to your home, look no further than Molly. Give this darling cat the chance she deserves, and you'll be rewarded with a lifetime of love and friendship. The suggested adoption donation for Molly is $65, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we are only assisting the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time, owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match.
