Story
Rupert is still a little guy, and maybe always will be small. He loves toys, and he was pretty much immediately comfortable and  making friends with the other kittens in his community room. He has no hesitation about ducking under other kittens to get where he wants to go.  Rupert came to us kinda scared. This wasn’t helped by the unfortunate fact that he desperately needed a bath. He needed multiple washes to get mostly clean, which really stressed him out. Luckily, Rupert LOVED the towel dry, and turned out to have a surprising amount of forgiveness in his tiny body as well as a big purr! Rupert was born May of 2024. If he is not neutered by the time he is adopted, he will be on a spay/neuter contract. He is microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**** October 16, 2024, 11:24 am

Story
Meet Mabel, a young beautiful ebony-coated cat with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to share it with. Her journey started as a skinny stray, but despite the odds, she found her way to safety—and decided to stay. Now, Mabel lives in a home with other animals, but deep down, she longs for a place where she can be the center of attention, without having to compete for affection. Mabel is a little shy at first, but once she realizes you’re a safe and loving person, she’ll blossom into the most loyal and affectionate friend you could ever wish for. She’s not just looking for a home; she’s searching for a quiet sanctuary, where she can snuggle up with a human who understands her gentle spirit.  Mabel’s dream is to find a cat-savvy person who will cherish her for the special soul she is—no other pets, no small children, just a peaceful life filled with love and companionship. If you’re looking for a best friend who will love you unconditionally, Mabel is ready to fill that spot in your heart and home. Mabel is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed. Story
Friendly, adorable, toy-obsessed Sprout is a bit wild and goofy. Sprout, Peanut, and Bug were all rescued together, but Sprout is younger than her “siblings”, so we don’t actually know what if any relation the three have. Sprout doesn’t have any trouble keeping up with her older sisters, though. If anything, it’s the other way around. Sprout can be a little clumsy in her play, but we can only hope she grows out of doing things like trying to jump off a shelf with a toy that is attached to the shelf.  Sprout was born May of 2024. If she is not spayed by the time she is adopted, she will be on a spay/neuter contract. She is microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org**** October 16, 2024, 11:24 am
