Meet Candyman. Candyman is a 2-year old neutered male. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Candyman is also FIV/FeLV negative! Candyman is a gentle, shy sweetheart who just needs a little patience to show you his softer side. If you approach too quickly, he’ll scamper off—but give him a moment (and maybe a treat or two), and he’ll come right back, rolling over and leaning into pets like he’s known you forever. He has a playful streak, especially when it comes to anything fuzzy—feather toys, fuzzy mice, soft kickers, you name it. When he’s not playing, you can usually find him perched in a windowsill, watching the world go by. Candyman is currently in a foster home with other cats and truly thrives in their company, so he will need to go to a home with another friendly feline. He also lives with dogs and is often caught rubbing against them, so a calm, cat-savvy dog companion should be just fine. Candyman would do best in a quieter home with older, respectful kids (6+) who can give him space when he needs it and love when he asks for it. With the right family, this sweet boy will blossom into the affectionate, loyal companion he’s meant to be. Topper is an ~ 4 month old male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped! ***Topper can receive applications but cannot go home until after his neuter on 1/22*** Hi! My name is Topper! I am ready to meet my new forever family who I know will fall in love with my adorable personality! Here are a few things about me: I have lots of energy and I love to play; so, I will require lots of toys to play with and things to keep me busy in my new house. I am a spunky, playful, curious, and adventurous kitten so I like to explore (and maybe occasionally get into a bit of kitten mischief!). I am sweet but can be shy at times, but don't worry once I know you I love hanging out with you! When I finally get tired after playing, I enjoy snuggling close and will fall asleep right on you while purring away! Since I can be a little bit shy sometimes, especially when there is a lot of noise and commotion, I would prefer a calmer home with slightly older children at least 10 years of age or older. And like most playful but shy kittens I do best with another kitty by my side who can not only help me burn off some of my energy but also comfort me when I am scared. Ahh Shucks, meet the cutest friend you've ever had! Ahh Shucks is a 4 month old male. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. ***Ahh Shucks can receive applications but cannot go home until his neuter on 1/27*** Ahh Shucks is a hilarious little guy who will keep you smiling and laughing for days! He hops side to side while he plays and rough houses with all of his foster siblings and has even gotten used to the large breed dogs in the home. Although he'd be more comfortable in a home without dogs. Ahh Shucks can be a little on the shy side and will require a little time to adjust in his new environment- due to his shy nature, he is required to go home with another cat or to a home with an established feline friend that can help him continue to grow and gain confidence. He should do well with kids of any age, and even cat-savvy dogs who can respect his boundaries given proper introductions and supervision. His foster mom knows that one look at this guy and you'll say "Ahh Shucks, look how cute!" Meet Hilo!! Hilo is a 1-year old neutered male. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Hilo is a sweet, quirky guy who’s still trying to figure out this whole thing called life. New situations can be a bit overwhelming for him, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can start him off in a small, quiet space (like an office or bathroom) to help him feel safe and settled as he adjusts. Hilo is highly food motivated and firmly believes that snacks are one of life’s greatest comforts — so a future home with plenty of tasty treats on hand is a must! When he’s not waiting for his next snack, Hilo enjoys lounging in cozy spots where he can relax and observe the world at his own pace. He does well with other cats and kittens and would absolutely love to have a feline friend in his forever home, though it’s not required. Because Hilo needs a bit of extra patience and understanding as he acclimates, he’s best suited for an experienced cat owner rather than a first-time adopter and any kids in his new home should be 13+ as he can be a little grumbly sometimes.
