Story
Stubbs came from the Johnson County Animal Shelter in need of medical assistance. None of us are sure what happened but somewhere along the way, Stubbs ended up with a pretty gross tail injury that resulted in a tail amputation. His tail at this point is basically non existent but he's super cute with his lil nub. What Stubbs lacks in tail he makes up for in spirit (not that he needed to make up for the loss of his tail, am I right?). He is a sensitive soul who is gentle, kind, and loving. His companionship is soothing to the soul and brings so much calm to anxious, stressful days. He's a little hesitant about it at first but he loves to play. Laser and string toys are his favorites so far. Stubbs is about a year old, neutered, UTD on core and FeLV vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call with adoption questions, the volunteer who handles our phone calls does not handle our adoptions. Story
Meet Clover! Clover is a sweet and gentle male domestic shorthair cat, around 13-14 years old. He came to us in need of some extra care, as he was suffering from matted fur, which was shaved to help him feel more comfortable. Since then, Clover has been feeling much better and is gradually regaining his energy. Despite his past challenges, he`s a calm and affectionate cat who enjoys the company of those who approach him with kindness. Clover is looking for a loving home where he can continue to thrive in a peaceful environment. Will you be the one to take this sweet boy home to spend his golden years? We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Story
Grayson is an affectionate, playful kitty. He is one of 5 siblings and because of that he hasn't gotten the individual attention, time and affection that he deserves. He will thrive in a home without other pets or children. Grayson needs a forever home that will provide peace and safety for him. He is a good companion, curious and loves to play. He is also not a "needy" kitty. He is content hanging out on his own. Grayson has spent most of his life outdoors. He is a cautious cat and will likely be afraid of a new owner at first. He needs someone who is patient and will allow him time to acclimate to his new environment. Grayson is extremely healthy. Excellent teeth, skin and fur. He has lived on a grain free diet consisting of wet food, raw food, freeze dried foods and limited dry kibble. I care so deeply for this kitty, I want him to have the best life and owner possible.
