Story
Stubbs came from the Johnson County Animal Shelter in need of medical assistance. None of us are sure what happened but somewhere along the way, Stubbs ended up with a pretty gross tail injury that resulted in a tail amputation. His tail at this point is basically non existent but he's super cute with his lil nub. What Stubbs lacks in tail he makes up for in spirit (not that he needed to make up for the loss of his tail, am I right?). He is a sensitive soul who is gentle, kind, and loving. His companionship is soothing to the soul and brings so much calm to anxious, stressful days. He's a little hesitant about it at first but he loves to play. Laser and string toys are his favorites so far. Stubbs is about a year old, neutered, UTD on core and FeLV vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call with adoption questions, the volunteer who handles our phone calls does not handle our adoptions. Story
Meet Zyra, a kitten with a heart as sweet as sugar. She's a bit shy, but don't let that fool you. Once she's comfortable, her high energy is infectious, filling any room with joy. She thrives in serene surroundings, her purrs echoing softly, creating a calming ambiance. Patience is key with Zyra. She's like a flower, needing time and care to fully bloom. But once she does, she'll reward you with unconditional love. Her friendly nature is infectious, and she has a knack for turning any mundane moment into a playful adventure. Zyra is not your typical quiet cat. She's a chatty little feline who's always ready to engage in a lively conversation. Her happiness is contagious, spreading joy to everyone around her. Zyra's adventurous spirit is evident in her love for exploration, turning every corner into a new world to discover. She loves to explore and discover new things, her curiosity making every day an adventure. She's a little ball of energy who is eager to find a home where she can continue to grow and learn. Adopting Zyra means bringing home a friend who will fill your days with laughter and love. Her sweet nature and playful spirit make her the perfect addition to any family. Story
I sure am cute, but I’m a ball of energy and natural instincts! I need to get my energy out and will want to perch up high, cuddle, scratch on a post, and would love a window with a view. Kittens will naturally pounce, wrestle, and play rough. But if you stick with me, we’ll be best friends forever!

Story
Lyra - 5 years old - More on the dominant side, but is super sweet once she has a chance to spend time with you - Large to mid sized - Eats dry food and has an insatiable love of cheese. Despite our best efforts to keep it away from her, she always is around to scoop up any fallen cheese from the kitchen lol - Color: Grey with white - Our living situation has had to change unfortunately and we are not allowed to have more than 1 pet.
