Story
Oliver is not the kind of cat who loves being alone. He loves being in the company of his owner and loves to play with toys. He lost his best friend, Kitty, this past year and has been very lonely at home alone and unfortunately we are unable to add any more fur babies to our home to accompany him at the moment. He can be slow to warm up but will eventually come to you with tons of love. He is a lazy boy but he does love to play and pretend to hunt his toys. He’s quite the scaredy cat. Oliver does get along with other cats and has only lived with small dogs. If he were to be around another cat, it would be best to slowly integrate them until he warms up but I think he would thrive with a brother or sister or some other animal companion. He would also do well with someone who is home a lot as he likes to sit and follow you around and be part of the activity.

Story
BBQ is a sweet, sassy, fluffy man, who needs a home that can give him the special attention and care he deserves. He is 5 years old. He loves catnip, licking the cereal bowl when you’re done, and sleeping right by your side. BBQ is an anxious boy who does not do well with other cats, particularly male cats. When his environment feels unstable or his dominance feels threatened, he has urinary issues (going places like on clothes on the floor or on the bed) and he needs an experienced adopter who can make him feel safe and secure. I love this little man with all my heart, and it is so important to me to find him a home he will be happy in. He is unable to stay with me due to a change in my living situation where there are two other male cats present and he would not do well. Please give my sweet boy a chance. He deserves it.

Story
He’s super sweet and cuddly. I adopted him with his mom so he’s never been separated from her. They are very good with each other. He can be pretty skiddish around dogs, and tends to hide most of the day when the dogs are roaming.

Story
Meet Millie! Millie was found at an abandoned home in Fort Wayne. We took her in, bottle fed her and litter box trained her when she was about 2 weeks old. We found her in May 2019. So that makes her roughly 5 1/2 years old now. She does well with dogs. We currently have 3. It is unknown how she would do around other cats as we have never tried introducing her around other cats. She has never been the most friendly but her behaviors have gotten worse since we have had kids. Millie would do best in a home without small children. She likes to keep to herself and does better when she makes the decision to approach you on her own. She can be timid at times. After she makes the decision to approach you, she can be cuddly. She does enjoy going outside for brief periods during the day when the weather is nice. She has only been indoors and then periodically allowed to roam in our fenced in backyard.

Willow has been with us for 6 years. She and her brother were found abandoned on Halloween. She is very sweet and sleeps at the head of our bed every night. She lives being petted and live bites if you haven't given quite enough love.

Story
FISHTOPHER-Adoption SponsoredDSH brown tabby male, 2 years old, strayI`m glad to be here where the food is delivered every day and I have a warm bed. I`m FISHTOPHER, a 2-year old boy with a classic brown tabby coat and bright green eyes. I was living as a stray before coming here, so the shelter is a big improvement in my situation. The nice people caring for me suspect I`ve been battling a bad ear infection for some time. Because of this, my equilibrium was pretty off kilter and I had a hard time walking straight/balanced. My ear is much better now and I`ve regained most of my balance, I am not 100% but definitely doing much better! But the best thing ever would be finding a real home with kind people. Can you make my dream come true and take me home?
