Story
CharlotteI`m almost embarrassed to admit I`m back at the HSHC because my latest owner was moving. I was one of the lucky kitties who lived at the Smitten Kitten Cat Cafe (SKCC) for a while and was adopted there. But I only got to live with her for 71 days. I don`t know why I couldn`t go with her, but that`s how it is. I am a curious, outgoing gal with a lovely fluffy orange and white coat. I came from a crowded shelter and was happy to be in this beautiful place. When I was at SKCC, I was the first to greet the interviewer lady (IL), and I rubbed against her leg and encouraged her to pet me all over. As soon as she sat down, I hopped onto the couch for more quality attention. Today, when the IL came to see me, I was busy bathing, but I let her pet me and scratch my ears. She said I looked a little scruffier than I did a few months ago. I don`t think my owner liked brushing my long hair. I am 5 years and 4 months old, litterbox-educated, and already spayed. My favorite things include falling asleep in your arms, playing with toys that make noise, and having lots of your attention. My big turn-off is having my stomach touched! Although I have lived with other cats, I sometimes tolerate them; other times, I get a bee in my bonnet and chase them to tell them to get out of my face. My fantasy is to be a spoiled, only cat. I long for a loving home where I can be the center of attention. I have all my paws crossed to find my forever owner, who will never move without taking me along. 10-8-24

I'm a gray, domestic short hair kitten. I'm a little bashful compared to my littermates, but I'm fairly quick to warm up and I have quite the purr box that I will start up in exchange for pets. I'm playful and love to get attention from my humans. Story
Mama & RubySisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters. Don`t you just love `White Christmas?` Even though we may not be littermates, Ruby and I are a bonded pair and can`t imagine life without the other. I am Mama, an 11-year-old black and orange Tortoiseshell lady, and Ruby is an 8-year-old DMH, Grey tabby girl. We have always lived with our owner, but due to his failing health, we are now up for adoption. During our medical evaluation, I was considered QAR (quiet, alert, and responsive). QAR means I might feel slightly under the weather or simply more laid-back. Ruby was listed as BAR (bright, alert, and responsive), which is no surprise! She`s younger and more outgoing than I am. Whenever the interviewer lady (IL) stops by to see us, I am usually tucked into my cozy Kasa bed. But Ruby often goes right up to her for attention. It`s not that Ruby is more friendly than I am; she just has a little more energy! Ruby turned on the cuddle and purr motor for the IL as she gave us both an abundance of pets, chin scratches, and back rubs, which tickled us pink. We are old enough to have good cat manners, have been spayed, and are eager to move into a forever-type situation! Ruby could stand to lose a little weight but don`t tell her I told you that. Remember, adopting two cats is ideal. We can keep each other company when you are not home! 10-16-24

Story
Rosetta is part of a bonded pair and will NOT be adopted without Clark. Please do not contact us about Rosetta unless you are also interested in adopting Clark. Rosetta Halftail Female (spayed) Medium-haired torbie (brown tabby with orange) Rosetta Halftail is a medium-haired torbie (brown tabby with orange spots) spayed female that was born to a feral Manx mother and lived outside for her first 10-12 weeks of life. She was the first of her siblings to be trapped, but also the nicest. She is a little confused with her signals - when you bring her food, she will hiss at you yet she eagerly dives in to eat. If you pick her up and love on her, she will easily purr but she doesn't like to be held for long. However, she does love to be pet and has "elevator butt" (scratch the back and the butt goes up). She does indeed have a little more than half a tail, which is where she got her last name. Fluffy and adorable, we can't wait to find her the perfect forever home. She is BONDED with Clark and we will only adopt them TOGETHER. No children under 12 (they make her nervous) and no dogs. She is okay with other cats.

Story
These boys came from a feral colony in Clermont. The homeowner had taken care of the colony, then people kept dumping intact cats and the neighbor didn't fix his, so the colony expanded. The homeowner had the adults scheduled to be fixed, and we took the kittens, which she had socialized from birth. Pawtrick is a short-haired classic brown tabby male who is very aloof but loves a good back scratch. He is SHY. He runs from us but then plants himself in a cat tree to look out the window, which is when we get to love on him and get him to purr. Purrcy is a medium-haired brown tabby who loves attention and canned food. Once Purrcy bonds with you, he will be underfoot and asking for attention. These cats have not been around dogs or small children. We insist on a cat-only household with children over 12. Pawtrick and Purrcy are neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. Approximate date of birth is late March 2023. Adoption fee = $75 per feline Please email centralinfostercats@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting Pawtrick and Purrcy.

Story
Daisy was found as a stray in my parents yard. She has had an initial check up with a vet, has had her first FVRCP vaccine, has had 2 rounds of dewormer and has gotten flea and tick prevention. She is estimated to be 8 weeks old. She is very outgoing and very snuggly. She is not shy at all. She would be a good fit for any home. As for her adopters, I am willing to waive her adoption fee if you can provide proof of a spay appointment. I am also asking that whoever adopts her be willing to send frequent updates as I am already attatched to this cutie!I cannot keep her as I already have 2 cats of my own and live in a small apartment.

Story
This Kitty was found by someone else outside as a kitten near a muddy puddle in a bar parking lot and was covered in ticks and fleas! We got called to offer him a place to stay as the person that found him had an aggressive dog. We got him all cleaned up and showered with love. We've had 3 potential adopters just through word of mouth and all have backed out! Shelters are full and we are running out of options. We have a kiddo with allergies in the house but REALLY want him placed in a good home. He's such a sweet boy and an excellent mouser! We would really enjoy staying in touch with Kitty's family.
