Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Michele (mballenger58@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Online Adoption Application › I had a rough start going into a county shelter as a tiny baby with my siblings and no momma. The shelter staff worked hard to bottle feed and try to save us, but I am the only one who survived. I earned the name Baby Tiger because I fought to beat the odds. I was adopted as a kitten for a short time and came back to the shelter with a head tilt. It is not known what caused this. I still occasionally have a slight head tilt, that is not holding me back and is barely noticable now. I love my toys and am playful. I use my litter box faithfully and had my vaccines including rabies. I'm neutered and ready to find my forever home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 5:57 pm

Story
Are you ready to add a little engine purr to your life? Meet Valvoline, the 5-year-old feline sensation who`s ready to rev up your home with love and companionship! We named him Valvoline because he arrived smelling like oil! But don`t let his oily origins fool you; this charming cat is anything but greasy!Valvoline is more than just a pretty face; he`s a chatterbox extraordinaire! From morning meows to evening serenades, Valvoline loves to keep the conversation flowing. Whether it`s discussing the day`s events or simply sharing his thoughts on the weather, Valvoline is always up for a good chat. Valvoline does well with other cats, making him a good fit for most households. Since we have had Valvoline he has had persistent diarrhea, our team has done everything we can medical to help solve the issues. But unfortunately we have not be able to determine the cause. He has been through several rounds of medications, treatments, and even foods. Despite having diarrhea, he is the happiest boy and still enjoys life. We are hoping to find a home that understands he has medical issues and is willing to give him the best life possible.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Stubbs came from the Johnson County Animal Shelter in need of medical assistance. None of us are sure what happened but somewhere along the way, Stubbs ended up with a pretty gross tail injury that resulted in a tail amputation. His tail at this point is basically non existent but he's super cute with his lil nub. What Stubbs lacks in tail he makes up for in spirit (not that he needed to make up for the loss of his tail, am I right?). He is a sensitive soul who is gentle, kind, and loving. His companionship is soothing to the soul and brings so much calm to anxious, stressful days. He's a little hesitant about it at first but he loves to play. Laser and string toys are his favorites so far. Stubbs is about a year old, neutered, UTD on core and FeLV vaccinations, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and on monthly flea preventative. His adoption fee is $75 and his application can be found here: www.jcccats.org/adoption-application **Do NOT call with adoption questions, the volunteer who handles our phone calls does not handle our adoptions. Please email tnr@jcccats.org instead**

Meet Zyra, a kitten with a heart as sweet as sugar. She's a bit shy, but don't let that fool you. Once she's comfortable, her high energy is infectious, filling any room with joy. She thrives in serene surroundings, her purrs echoing softly, creating a calming ambiance. Patience is key with Zyra. She's like a flower, needing time and care to fully bloom. But once she does, she'll reward you with unconditional love. Her friendly nature is infectious, and she has a knack for turning any mundane moment into a playful adventure. Zyra is not your typical quiet cat. She's a chatty little feline who's always ready to engage in a lively conversation. Her happiness is contagious, spreading joy to everyone around her. Zyra's adventurous spirit is evident in her love for exploration, turning every corner into a new world to discover. She loves to explore and discover new things, her curiosity making every day an adventure. She's a little ball of energy who is eager to find a home where she can continue to grow and learn. Adopting Zyra means bringing home a friend who will fill your days with laughter and love. Her sweet nature and playful spirit make her the perfect addition to any family. Story
Karen currently resides at Bloomington Stitchery, but is still available for adoption! This is what they have to say about her: Karen believes that Bloomington Stitchery exists only as a shrine to her exquisite beauty (because we tell her that she’s the most beautiful girl in the world, everyday). She has many devoted fans who visit her on a regular basis, and she is a very vocal friend to everyone she meets. Once you gain her trust, she will demand to be carried around while you dance to her favorite song, “Just The away You Are” by Bruno Mars, while she gives you ten thousand forehead kisses. Karen has been working on her “bad habits”, and has largely replaced swatting with giving even more kisses. This lovable, bossy, and fashionable lady deserves to live the cozy life in a forever home with her new favorite person. Come visit Karen at Bloomington Stitchery today!
