Elfie is a stunning female tabico! She is beautiful but needs some adjustment time and much more socialization. We are hoping to find her a home with someone who is experienced with nervous/under socialized cats or someone who is dedicated and committed to learning. She has had a tough time accepting people but has trusted some staff members to give pets. She seems to do well with other cats also, as she finds comfort and confidence in them. She is often curled up with her brother Claus or other cats nearby. Because of her weariness of people, we think it would be highly beneficial for her to go home with another cat or to a home with an established cat friendly cat.

Meet Anastasia, a longhaired momma kitty who was brought to us as a stray from Bolingbrook Animal Control with her kittens. Most of her kittens have been adopted (just Gustave is left), and now Anastasia is looking for her very own forever home. She is a quiet kitty, can be shy with new people, but once she gets to know and love you she will be your BFF. She uses the litterbox, and is an overall very good girl. Hello! They call me Thumper. I am 1 years old, and I am a medium haired grey kitty girl. I'm somewhat shy but if you give me time and know how to bribe me (kitty treats!) I will be on your lap.I've learned while being in my foster home that the other kitties come to my foster family for affection. I say to myself Oh, I wish I could do that too. I watch and watch and guess what? I have started to come around and be closer to people in the past week. One day I got so brave I hopped on my foster Moms lap when she was watching TV. They call that baby steps but for a shy girl like me it's like one giant step. I like it when my foster Mom brushes my pretty fur. That's how my coat is so shiny and healthy. Also, I like it when me & my sister Po plus the other kitty girls hang out together. We have one big kitty pile and we groom each other. Got to stay pretty so our family's can see us.I hope when you come to visit me and choose me as your new pet my new family will be understanding on my shyness and can understand that time & patience for me to come to you. I know you'll have a lap waiting for me.Ill tell some secrets my foster Mom learned about me to build my trust. Classical music calms down and I LOVE Made by Nacho treats, well really any treats get this girl motivated!Know what I also love? My sister Po. You might have seen the pictures of me cuddling with a white kitty. That's Po. She's braver than me and I hope when a family comes to meet me, they can also meet Po and maybe we can go together.
