A kind Good Samaritan brought her to a local pet ER, but this clever girl made a break for it in the parking lot. Thankfully, her explorer days were short-lived — the very next day she decided rescue life wasn’t so bad after all and allowed herself to be safely caught. Turtle is a gentle, shy soul who’s still learning to trust her surroundings. She’s done great with her litter box and has perfect manners. While she hasn’t “chosen violence,” she definitely prefers her own space and would thrive in a quiet home with no more than one other calm cat (or none at all). Turtle would do best with older children who can respect her boundaries and let her come around at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality starts to shine through — she just needs someone patient who will give her the time and love she deserves.
