Two year old Mei is as sweet as they come—playful, curious, and beautiful. When she first arrived back into the rescue after being adopted when she was just a kitten, all I saw of her for a couple weeks were her paws peeking out from under the bookshelf where she had hidden. With time and patience, she gradually ventured out and eventually chose to climb into my lap and settle in. Now, she eagerly greets me at the door, voices her displeasure if dinner is delayed, and immediately curls up in my lap whenever I sit down.Mei is incredibly loyal and rewards patience and trust-building with the sweetest affection. She would thrive in a quieter home where she can form a deep bond and show just how wonderful she can be.She wants to be the center of attention and may do best as an only cat, but like anything else with this sweet girl, with enough patience and slow introductions she could likely get along with another feline friend.
