Tobasco is one of the cuddliest cat you'll ever encounter! This sweet and friendly boy adores meeting new people and thrives on affection-belly rubs are his absolute favorite. He's as playful as he is loving and can entertain himself (or you!) with hours of fun and activity. Tabasco is a fantastic communicator when it comes to his boundaries. Occasionally, if he gets a little overwhelmed, he might give a soft nip to let you know he needs a moment. However, as you learn his cues, you'll find this happens less and less-he's just that good at forming a bond. With a hearty appetite and a clean bill of health, Tabasco is ready to bring his playful, snuggly energy to his forever home. If you're looking for a feline friend who's equal parts love and liveliness, Tabasco might just be your purr-fect match! Put in an application to meet him today!

Story
Urgent Plea:  Foster or Adopt Maize, a Special Kitty in Need (Metro Atlanta area Only) Meet Maize – A Young, Semi-Feral Kitty Seeking a Loving Home Maize is a beautiful kitty who was rescued from a neighborhood overwhelmed with stray and feral cats. Despite the challenges, Maize was successfully trapped and brought to a vet immediately for testing, vaccines, spaying, and microchipping. She was severely matted and underweight, likely having to fight and scrounge for food. Current Situation: Maize has been in a foster home for the past five months, where she has flourished. Her fur has grown back beautifully, showcasing her long tabby coloring. Although she remains timid, she is far from "wild." Maize prefers not to be picked up, but she is quite easy to care for. Unfortunately, due to changes in the foster home’s life circumstances, Maize needs to find a new home by September 30, 2024. We urgently need a special person to foster or adopt her. Why Maize Needs You: Maize is still on her journey to becoming fully socialized. She needs a patient and understanding individual who can respect her boundaries and help her continue to feel safe and loved. With time and care, many semi-feral cats like Maize have successfully adapted to loving homes. It just takes patience and love! Living Arrangements: Maize would do best in a cat-only household without dogs or young children. Setting her up in a “kitty house” (like this one) where she can be exposed to people in the household can help her adjust. Benefits of Another Cat: Having another cat in the home could be beneficial for Maize, as seen in the success story of "Grey" in the YouTube video. We Need Your Help! We have no other options for Maize and are relying on someone special to open their heart and home to this deserving kitty. Please consider giving Maize the chance she deserves. Contact Information: If you are interested in fostering or adopting Maize, please email passionforanimals5017@gmail.com. Thank you for your kindness and consideration. Meet Beautiful ROBBIE BOY!   Only one year old, perfectly healthy, beautiful gray and white fur with a puffy tail! Likes other cats, or did when he lived outside! Very social! Bold, not a bit shy! Can you please foster ($150/month) or ADOPT this wonderful young, fun, smart, engaging but RELAXED boy? He is in boarding now but go before the holidays, and we are desperate to find a temp or better, a final home!  He is super sweet, A HUGE lap sitter, and just wants attention more than anything else!  Robbie was once someone's little kitten, who cruelly left him after they moved from an apartment in Alpharetta!!  He was dumped outside, and was fed and seen by kind residents as his health started to decline as the months went on.  His now beautiful fur was looking bad, and he was so skinny! He was competing for his food with feral cats, and not doing well!! A nice couple called AWHAR to see if we could take him in. We fully vetted him and he is very healthy! So friendly at Camp Kitty where he is being boarded!  His perfect home would be one where he can relax on the sofa and watch tv, sleep with you or not, greet you with lots of chatter in the morning, and enough room for some real cat crazies in the evening.  He is bold so a dog MAY be ok, and other cats may be fine, but being an ONLY cat is good too.  ALL options open for this flexible guy! Always a trial basis: Contact 404-520-1060 for an application.  or awhar09@gmail.com www.awhar.org  PLEASE give this sweet beautiful guy a chance! Thanks!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 14, 2024, 3:12 pm

Story
Fluffy is about 4 years old. I adopted her and her sister when they were kittens from someone on Craigslist. Although they are both really sweet cats, they don't really get along with other cats. Fluffy is an indoor/outdoor cat but mostly outdoor. I doubt she could ever be an indoor only cat. She has a natural instinct to hunt/prey on all small critters around the house and in the house. She is quite snuggly when she is in the mood, but can act very skittish. She pretty much stays outside during the day and comes in at night. Her usual time to be affectionate is at night. When its time for bed she will fall asleep next to me or at the foot of my bed. She can be aggressive when scared. She will bite if she feels threatened. She would do best being the only cat or only pet as she does not care for other animals. She also does not like strangers. Fluffy is loyal to her owner and will hide from people she doesn't know, but could probably be won over with yummy canned cat food!
