Story
Dove is a 1.5 year old spayed female that is very affectionate and good with other cats. She became an orphan when her mom's landlord said she had to go. She has been nothing short of a joy to be with, offering purrs and snuggles to her human companions.  Dove was born around December 30, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Oakville. She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.February 1, 2025, 7:42 pm

Story
Olivia is sweet, loving kitten who loves playing with her siblings in her foster home. She enjoys attention and would do well in any home! This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Please consider fostering a cat or dog by applying on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter is usually not what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat.Kitten Policy: It is important to understand that the socialization of kittens with other animals as playmates is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/

Story
Darla is a gorgeous, medium haired orange tabby. She is about 2 years old. She is very laid back but cautious at first. She was adopted into a home with a dog that was jealous of the attention she got from the owner so she was returned. She would do best as the only pet in the household. She would be great for a senior person because she is not as active as a kitten would be. She was born in January 2023. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Gianna is a beautiful medium-hair tabby whose fur is very fine and silky. She will require some grooming. She was found in a carrier left outside a store with her sister (already rehomed). Thanks to a friend of the rescue, she is now safe with her Foster & Forever family. If you want a super loving lap kitten, Gianna is your girl! She isn't a fan of other cats or kittens; she's a growler. She will occasionally chase another kitten, but would rather play independently. Gianna loves playing with any type of soft ball, and, yes; growls while playing. She enjoys being held, carried around, and taking laps in her humans' laps. She is very persistent and will growl at her foster mom's nine-year-old cat to move so Gianna can sit on her mom's lap.  Gianna needs to be the only pet. Gianna was born around July 20, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Naugatuck. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.
