Story
Meet Mel, the adolescent male tabby. Mel has been observed to be very sweet with people but does not appreciate the company of other kitties. He does love to soak up attention while hanging out in our volunteer`s lap. He is looking to be the apple of somebody’s eye. Could that be you? Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

Story
**Adoption fee sponsored by Karin Vogel**Hi, I’m Baby Girl! I came to the shelter with my sibling Baby Boy as an owner surrender. We aren`t quite considered a bonded pair, and have actually been living apart recently, so we could be adopted as a pair or separately! So far shelter staff report that we are very sweet and mellow. I could possibly be open to a home with another cat so long as we were given a proper introduction and adequate decompression time. So, do you have space in your heart for one (or two) new feline friends? If so, come down to the shelter Tue-Sun 11-5 during Browsing Hours and meet me!
