Story
Meet Rosemary!-15 week old female gray tabby -Indoor onlyRosemary spent time in a foster home. Her foster reports: “This precious little one is the cutest little thing. She’s dainty and fluffy with gorgeous eyes. All the characteristics of your classic Disney kitten, except she’s not your typical outgoing perfect princess. Rosemary is as shy as she is beautiful. It took her a bit to get used to our household but she’s finally out and about playing with her siblings and older resident cats. She would prefer a more mellow home with older kids. Our household has a 5 year old and a 10 year old. She found the movements of my 5 year old a little too much for her but did great with the older one. That being said, she would still let the younger one pick her up and was a sweetie about it. Did amazing with our older resident cat. Def would prefer she goes to a family with a current cat to keep her company or her sister Clarice. Once you pick her up or pet her, you see that she enjoys the company. She loves her chin rubbed and doesn’t mind being held …if you can catch her! She did do well in foster care with a doggo around. As long as your doggo loves and respects cat boundaries, she would be fine with a canine friend.”Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. Story
Meet Clarice!-15 week old female gray tabby -Indoor onlyClarice spent time in a foster home. Her foster reports: “Clarice is our small but mighty kitten. She’s got a kick, spice and cattitude to her like no other. She likes her space, and privacy. When we first brought her home, it took us a whole week to get her to come out of her hiding spot and stop hissing. Now, although she doesn’t like to be held, she’ll accept the love and will even now come sleep at a 5ft distance. Seems like nothing but for her, she’s come a long way. She’s a sweetie in disguise. She just needs someone to show her that were not all so bad out there. Like her sister Rosemary, she will need a more mellow home with older kids (out of everyone, my 10 year old was the only one she grew close to) and either dog free or very experience cat friendly dog. She loved hanging out with the older resident cats and sister. I would prefer she go with her or as a companion for another cat. Just another little kitten who needs a little extra TLC.”Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. Story
Meet Smokey and Bandit, two adorable kitten brothers looking for their forever home. Born approximately on May 27, 2024, this playful brother duo is at the perfect age to join your home as you new fur babies!   Bandit, the shyer of the two, has the sweetest little face and big, curious eyes. He’s a bit reserved at first, often hiding behind his brother until he feels safe. But once Bandit warms up to you, he’s all about gentle purrs and soft cuddles. He’ll need a patient family who understands that he might take a little extra time to come out of his shell. With a bit of love and care, Bandit is sure to become a loyal and affectionate companion.    Smokey, on the other hand, is the complete opposite! He’s the life of the party, always bouncing around and chasing after toys. This social boy is super playful and loves to snuggle up after a fun play session. He’s confident and adventurous, often trying to coax Bandit into joining in the fun. Smokey's playful energy and love for snuggles make him the perfect partner for someone looking for an active, affectionate kitty.    These two brothers share a special brother bond and love for each other. Adopting them together would not only give them the comfort of each other's company but also bring double the love and joy into your home. They can also be separated if you have a young and social cat at home looking for a forever companion. Smokey and Bandit are ready to fill your life with purrs, snuggles, and endless fun!   Smokey and Bandit have been altered, up-to-date with kitten age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped. They've been tested negative for FeLV and FIV.   To meet this playful and sweet brother duo, please complete an application at https://www.purrificrescue.org/adopt  Questions? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jack must be adopted with one of his siblings: Percy, Nolan or Ella. If you're interested in meeting this adorable kitten, please complete an online adoption application or reach out to us via email at info@ibokrescue.org. All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home. All of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home without another same aged kitten. We also do not place kittens older than six months into homes where there is currently not another young cat in residence. Most of our kittens are in "bonded pairs" or bonded with their littermates. We reserve the right not to separate bonded pairs or place kittens individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority. =^..^=Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 1, 2024, 5:19 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet, shy kitten! Sokka and his sister, Katara, are shy kittens, but with time and gentle handling, they come out of their shells and will start exploring their home and checking in with their humans. They are also quite attached and will play with one another! Unless otherwise noted, kittens are adopted out in pairs unless adoptive home has a youngish cat who can be a companion to the kitten. Kittens need a buddy! Kittens are bundles of love! Their personalities develop over time so we can't tell you exactly if this kitten will become a lap cat, a social kitty, a kneader, etc. Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies and you will get to see first hand how their wonderful natures develop! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.  Adoption fees for cats/kittens: http://www.svpetproject.org/info/adoption Stay up-to-date on what our kittens are up to by following us on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/svpetproject Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 7:25 pm
