Story
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT TCRESCUE.COM/ADOPT Butterscotch is a young adult, neutered grey tabby born approximately 9/20/22.   Butterscotch was trapped with his siblings from a dumpster as kittens, with respiratory infections. He had to receive medicine daily for weeks, and because of this, he i s still a shy boy. He is cat sociable and is fine being within 5 feet of you, but does not like to be touched, unless it is on his terms. He will come up to you for pets when he feels you are incapacitated- aka sitting on the couch or lying in the bed. He also enjoys snuggling on the bed at night, and will purr very loudly once he starts getting scritches behind his ears. He is an observer for the most part, but he's a sweet boy and would benefit from having a home of his own where he can blossom into a more playful snuggle bug.   Butterscotch has a beautiful ombre brown and grey striped coat with yellow green eyes. He really loves to play with his siblings and snuggle with the older cats. He is not bothered at all by the rough housing of the dogs in the house, and will often snuggle up to them when they are trying to nap. His favorite toy is a crackly fabric mouse and his favorite resting spot is atop the couch cushions. Butterscotch would do best with another cat or calm dog in the home, and no children or high-energy households. He has been exposed to feline calicivirus and feline herpes and is likely a carrier for these feline viruses so the best home for Butterscotch will be a home with someone who understands the possibility that he could have "breakouts"- however, in the year he has been with his foster, he has shown NO outward symptoms of having these viruses. Cats with feline herpes or calicivirus may exhibit symptoms or flareups ranging in severity, randomly or in times of stress throughout their life.  Learn why kittens in pairs are healthier and happier at: http://tcrescue.com/why2kittens Butterscotch is being fostered in Gilroy. Adoption fee of $65 covers deworming, rabies and two FVRCP vaccinations, microchip, and  neuter surgery.   If Butterscotch is adopted with one of his foster siblings, the total adoption fee is only $75 for the pair! If you would like to meet this kitten, please start by filling out our adoption application at tcrescue.com/adopt   ADOPTION INQUIRIES SUBMITTED WITHOUT A COMPLETED APPLICATION FROM THE LINK ABOVE MAY NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Story
Snowy is a truly special cat who has shown her remarkable motherly instincts by raising 7 adorable kittens! She is the epitome of patience and sweetness. Snowy loves to relax and welcomes soft petting and brushing from her human friends.   Snowy is a sociable cat who seeks out human attention and expresses her gratitude with the most heartwarming purrs. She doesn't mind being held and is perfectly content to snuggle up on your lap for some quality time together. Her behavior at the vet was impeccable, proving that she's as well-mannered as she is affectionate. Although Snowy currently prefers a dog-free environment, it's believed this may change once her kittens are grown and she can fully relax. While we haven't seen her interact with other cats, her friendly nature suggests she'll do just fine. Snowy is also great with children of all ages, as long as they are gentle and kind. Snowy will make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a loving and devoted feline friend. If you're ready to give Snowy the forever home she deserves, come meet her and experience the joy she brings! Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. Story
Are you prepared to welcome a feline monarch into your realm? Look no further than Fergi – a regal beauty with a heart as majestic as her lineage. Fergi, much like the esteemed Duchess Fergie, is a dignified and charming feline with a touch of royalty in every step. She has mastered the art of grace, demanding attention with a quiet but undeniable presence. Her royal highness, Fergi, loves attention, but she understands the elegance of patience. When you enter the room, she may saunter near you, her eyes reflecting the wisdom of a true monarch. She waits for your approach, gracefully lying on her side, allowing you the honor of petting her back, head, and chin. Alternatively, she might recline on a pillow, awaiting the royal treatment. Fergi, the slow-to-purr princess, believes in the art of anticipation. It may take a while, but when her purr graces your ears, her expression reveals pure joy. The transformation from reserved royalty to contented queen is a sight to behold. Originally the more reserved sibling, Fergi has blossomed into a confident and enchanting presence. She has emerged from her shell, allowing glimpses of her true, majestic self. She even indulges in moments of royal bonding, letting you hold her for short periods, a gesture of trust and affection. Fergi would like to be adopted with her brother Fergus. While she may feign disinterest in the cat wand toy initially, do not be fooled! Fergi is the master of the sneak attack, executing acrobatic moves with precision and flair. Her playful spirit adds a delightful touch of spontaneity to her regal demeanor. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. Story
Please contact Joyce for more information about this pet.Meet Marvel, the loving calico! Miss Marvel has beautiful eyes and gorgeous, long, silky, calico fur, and her love language is brushing and pets. She comes readily to people to get treats, follows them to the kitchen to remind them of breakfast, but what she loves more than anything else is pets around the ears and a good brushing down her back to the tip of her tail. When she's in the mood, she melts under the brush like a pat of butter on a hot pan. When things feel too much, she gives a little tap with a paw to say enough. Miss Marvel was a caring and dedicated mom to 4 kittens, despite being a young cat herself. Now, she is ready to find her forever home and enjoy the perks of being adored by humans. Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. Story
After months of deliberation, Jillie has decided - in the correct environment - she is a lap cat who enjoys some extended petting and sleeping on the bed is an awesome experience.   Now, let’s define ‘correct environment’. Jillie likes quiet, calm and lots of patience. Change is a tad difficult for Jillie, so patience while she adjusts to any change is extremely important. Quiet and calm soothes her and helps her be more receptive to everything. Yes, Jillie can be a fussbudget, but once she feels at ease in her home, the rewards of her purring on your lap while you pet her fur make it all worth while.    Jillie does best with one or two adults in the home, no children and as an only pet. Yes, there’s the fussbudget again, but Jillie knows she’s worth it.  Jillie does play, but only with a feather wand toy (fussbudget, as warned). Initially, play helped soothe Jillie when moving to her foster home.  If you’re looking for a beautiful cat with a bit of fussbudget attitude, and are willing to patiently get to know Jillie, she really is a lovely cat that does enjoy attention.  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. Story
A long lasting bond with Purla takes root in an abundance of patience. From that foundation, a relationship with this gorgeous girl will continue to sprout. When Purla first arrives in your home, she will spend her time inside a cubby. You may not see her for many days as you visit her space to quietly feed her or sprinkle cat nip on a window perch. The best gardeners know that many factors impact growth, and sometimes the best approach is tender, careful waiting. One day, you'll put down Purla's food, and sit near by, as usual, and she'll appear, dainty and careful and full of life. You've done it! Weeks of dedicated care grew a seedling of friendship, and the rewards will continue to multiply. Purla is food motivated, and these meal times will encourage the first moments of interaction and bonding between you--from a distance. Purla loves to observe both the people and other pets around her. She would prefer to share space with other pets who share her peaceful, cautious demeanor, and is happy to share toys with them. She also loves to view the world outside her windows. Purla is smart and expressive, but above all, she is gentle with people and other cats. When nervous, she may freeze or run back to her cubby. You'll remember the first time her nose "boops" your finger. Purla also loves wand toys, and is a skilled hunter. Not surprisingly, she may watch for a while before attempting a chase. She tilts her head to the side in moments of curiosity and trots gracefully when intrigued. Over time, Purla becomes a constant presence, sharing furniture and sitting nearby to the humans who graciously took the time to get to know her.  Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.  This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet this cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptNovember 6, 2024, 10:11 am

Hello! My name is  Percy . I am looking for my very own family. I am a sweet and friendly young cat. I am just about a year young. I love toys and people. I currently live with dogs and cats. I am a special needs kitten.  &#226&#128&#139I don't really know why my back legs are paralyzed, but I promise you I don't let that stop me!!  I would love someone willing to help me with daily functions.  I need to be expressed.  Don't let that scare you.  It is pretty easy to accomplish.  I am most comfortable when I am expressed multiple times a day.  At night, I am comfortable wearing a diaper.  I usually cooperate when it is time to express and stimulate my bowels if you can catch me!!  I love my cat perch and have no problem climbing it.  They named me Percy, which is short for perseverance.  I have never let any challenges get in my way!!   I would love to meet YOU. Our Adoption fee is reduced to $105 for Special Needs Cats.   For adoption consideration or to meet our kittens , please complete our online application:   www.everypetsdream.org/adopt and  we will have everything we need to know to call you back and set up an appointment.  Follow us:  Facebook  and  Instagram   November 5, 2024, 12:10 am
